I really liked this place... I visited two days in a row because I was really charmed. Good atmosphere, lots of natural light with one of those big windows that could roll up (even though it was closed, it still gave the place a more open feel), lots of seating, two levels which is interesting. Calming music. Mostly clean, but there were some flies in the bathroom - not a lot that I was seriously put off but enough that I noticed. The baristas were very polite. The barista on my first visit very patient with all the customizations I was making on my drink. On my second visit, they messed up my order and made me something with a similar name but when I explained, they were nice about replacing it and even made a bigger size. The drink menu is huge - they have bubble tea and unique drinks along with basic coffee and tea, a variety of pastries, and some light food. The bubble tea drinks are made "from scratch" with real brewed tea instead of powders or concentrates so you can customize with nondairy milk. I got: Guacamole toast: Pretty simple, but good, like homemade food. Everything tasted very fresh. I think there was a little sprinkle of pepper which was subtle but made a difference in making it taste like a dish and not some stuff thrown together on bread. The price ($9) is a little steep for the small portion. Carrot walnut muffin: Standard carrot muffin. Soft and light. Pistachio cookie: Very soft cookie with little dollops of frosting, a pistachio paste drizzle, and a sprinkling of pistachio pieces. Not too sweet. The pistachio paste drizzle was kind of skimpy but the small amount of frosting like a garnish was actually perfect - it was a very nice cookie by itself and more frosting would have been excessive. Sakura oolong tea latte w/ red bean popping pearls: The tea was very good. I kind of expected a sweet sakura flavour but it wasn't sweet at all, which highlighted the fragrance of the tea itself. The red bean popping pearls were super interesting - not red bean-flavoured popping pearls but pearls with whole red beans inside. It was a cool and enjoyable texture with the combination of the pop and the chewy beans. Osmanthus Oolong Tea Latte: Very calming drink. Topped with a little sprinkle of flower buds which was...
Read moreI tried 3 items: The shake mango green tea w/ passion fruit poppy boba, donut late, and spinach & feta pastry.
The shaken mango green tea was very tasty and refreshing. The popping boba was nice, though a little tough to pop. Their donut late is a nice (new to me) take on a late! It has chocolate powder and a dash of cinnamon on top of the extra frothed foam which is poured right on top! The pastry was tasty albeit nothing special which to me is always good as it meabs it's worth getting again.
Their staff are very friendly and chatty, chairs are comfortable with plenty of different views to choose from, and the cafe itself is very bright and modern. Great place to either stay in with a little book or to study, or to grab and go for a walk around the park directly around the corner!
Looking forward to trying more drinks and...

Service was so good~ the staff were constantly providing their best and made us very comfortable in asking for other utensils.
The food was amazing- order a taro drink and the taro was so apparent despite asking for zero sugar.
The lavander earl grey crossiant was mind baffling. Perfect sweetness of early grey in the cream and the lavender smells so well with the tra flavour. Crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside.
Def recommended for dates and casual cafe hopping~
