A few years ago this was the place for great cheap Indian food. The food is still very fresh, flavourful, and hearty however the portion size has seriously been reduced. You can see that the quality has dropped also a little. Do not get me wrong it is still a good deal but not a great deal and you can see that from the recent reviews. On the downsize, the people working here are not the happiest in the world and they are pretty stingy with the extras. The Naan here is very average. If you can spend more money there are better Indian restaurants less 500 meters from this place. I will eat here again but they need to step it up.

The food is really flavorful and the portions are generous. We got lamb korma and chicken karahi. Garlic naan was fresh and had tons of garlic, which is how we prefer it. The owner wasn't super engaging when we asked questions about the dishes, though this may be due to a language barrier. One of the few Indian spots in Vancouver that I'd return to. To note: it's takeout only. Also, he uses tin/aluminum takeout containers instead of that garbage plastic which is a HUGE plus for me since I don't want hot food boiling the plastic and releasing unhealthy chemicals when I order takeout.

This is by far the best indian take out I’ve been to. I usually order the butter chicken, chicken or goat curry. I’ve never been a fan of goat, but this is the only place I will eat it. Their garlic naan bread is super garlicy and delicious. Food is made to order, so order ahead. I found his food to be more on the savoury side and more spicier than most places. Too bad this place doesnt have Raita, otherwise, very busy local place!

Omg! This is something!

Came to that place first time. Honestly - when I came inside, I got scared by interior (dark, unorganized looking place). BUT! when I ordered the food, he cooked it on the pan right in front of me! Not hiding inside and microwaving stuff, as other Indian places do. And you know what, the taste is INCREDIBLY AMAZING! The naan is soft and crispy at the same time, very very tasty, and the butter chicken meal is very high class made. I'm so happy that I ordered my lunch there. The food looks beautiful, and tastes great! Highly impressed and recommend!

I wish the owner will invest little bit in interior design, to make the place...

Food is delicious. Very spicy though even when asked for mild. And most dishes were quite salty.

The naans aren't ready on the weekend until 1pm or 1:30pm which was a bit lame.

The menu posted in the store and online do not reflect the actual price. My 4 dishes were supposed to be $53 but I was charged $65. When I asked the owner, he said the board is outdated...

It was just him cooking and doing cash so expect a long wait (40-45mins). Call way in advance for your take-out.

Butter chicken was the real winner. Lamb had lots of bones - not quite worth it. Fish tikka masala was good. Aoola (cauliflower) vegetarian dish...
