Freshslice Pizza — Restaurant in Vancouver

Ordered a pizza from them over the phone around 7:45pm on a Wednesday, and did not receive an update until 9:15pm when I called them back. The lady let me know that she ordered a SkipTheDishes driver to have the pizza delivered to me (they don’t have their own delivery drivers?) and multiple drivers had cancelled on them. She told me the next one will be coming to pick up the pizza from the shop in 45 minutes. As an apology, she offered a free 2L Pepsi to add to my order. She called me back just before they were closing to inform that no SkipTheDishes drivers came to pick up the pizza, and she would be cancelling my order. She was very apologetic and let me know that her manager would be reaching out to me the next morning regarding this whole mess. I was never contacted by anybody. Restaurant uses biodegradable straws. These are NOT compostable and must be thrown in the garbage.

Please stop asking me to confirm my order I know how to use my app phone and honestly what the hell else could I possibly do other than confirm it? Sit there and do nothing? The disrespect.

Also if you order for pick up there is a message on the app that you are required to bring a delivery bag. They basically won’t give you your own food unless they can be absolutely certain you can keep it hot before you get home to eat it. They also rate you as a customer and don’t give you a thumbs up if you don’t bring a bag to deliver it to your own home.
