This was my go-to place for coffee before but my last visit was really off-putting and made me reconsider ever visiting again. I ordered a latte as usual but the drink I got weighed much lighter in hand and didn't feel like the latte I always had. (As someone who always drinks latte I didn't know at the time that it was a cappuccino I got.) I tried to communicate this with the barista girl, who didn't think of checking if the drink was the right one, and instead looked at me funnily and asked is it that I wanted more milk. I said no, just the drink might not be latte cuz the cup is usually heavier. Again instead of checking, the barista asked me if I wanted to compare the paper cup they use. That question and the whole conversation were all quite ridiculous because of the nonchalant way the barista tried to brush my feedback off. The other barista then came over, looked at the drink and said that it was actually a cappuccino. I got my latte a moment later, though the first barista said nothing about her making a wrong drink and trying to ridicule a customer's concern afterwards. She gave me an exasperated look when I took the drink, at which time I didn't want to argue further either and just wanted to be away from the place as soon as possible. Also not sure if I should mention that both drinks were lacking the latte art on them, while before every drink had the art. I guess if the way they treat their customers has changed this drastically, I'd rather be exempted from such...
Read moreI can’t remember how many times I’ve driven past this café in the city center, always drawn in by its unique design and promising myself to visit someday. Finally, on a rainy day, I had the chance. Walking in, the first thing that caught my eye was the unique seating arrangement on the right—a tall, 360-degree bar-style area that really stands out. On the left, there’s another seating area with special lighting, perfect for photos. Checking the coffee prices, I was pleasantly surprised; it’s rare to find such reasonable prices in this part of town. The pastry selection is limited, but everything looks freshly made. I ordered an espresso to have here and a croissant to go, along with a cup of hot water. Even as more and more customers came in, I noticed that there was only one employee handling everything. Despite this, she managed to serve everyone warmly, taking care of both coffee-making ,cashier and cleaning tables duties.Overall, I enjoyed the cozy space, a well-made coffee, and watching a dedicated employee who clearly takes pride in their work. A delightful experience...
