Hi so in summary one day I walked off the street went into time and gold and spent $1, 500 on aTossit watch. They do carry very good watches but they're generally high end. and they only Carry specialty ones. I was to say a little disappointed when I phoned the store looking for a nice titanium watch band for my very nice Bulova watch. But when I was talking with a lady she suggested that I take my business elsewhere. I believe that she must feel that Bulova is a watch band beneath time and gold. The lady then explained that the only titanium bracelets that they would have would be designed for the watches they carry only and besides they don't carry Bulova. So in hindsight I guess I made a bad choice for calling their store thinking that they might have something I was looking for. The lady further went on to explain that she only had one name brand which I've already forgotten now and not titanium watch strap would be $1,500. Well let's say. I truly don't think that the average person that walks off the street every day and buys a $1,500 time piece. I would usually think a little would be a wise decision in planning a purchase like that. I heard that time and gold was a very good reputable business and that's why I had taken my business there in the past. I guess there are some stores in Vancouver that tend to feel that if you don't arrive with $$$ thousands in your pocket they don't want to or can't be bothered with you as a customer. If you don't look like well to do businessman it is very easy to turn those people away like me. I can't say that I'm going to be running back there anytime soon. In order to I guess discourage me from taking up any more of her time she told me a titanium bracelet was going to cost at least $1,500. I know I can go online and buy them fairly reasonable and certainly not for 14 or $1,500. It does make me wonder where my warranty would sit with time and gold.. I want to deal with People who are interested in helping me to find what I'm looking for because it's important to me not based on how I look or how I sound over the phone and whether I've done past business with them or not. I might not be a millionaire today but I certainly could be one tomorrow all it would take is one lucky ticket and if business is new that I was a millionaire would that change how they should deal with me I think a person should be able to walk off the street no matter in what a tire they are in and be served the same as someone who has a million dollars in their pocket to spend because after all you don't know who your customer truly is if you really don't know...

I purchased a watch for my wife about 15 years ago and have been very happy with the watch. Recently, my wife needed a new battery. They actually put in a new battery for free. This seemed too good to be true.
Anyways, the battery was so weak that the watch was losing time almost immediately. So she took the watch back. It was at that point that they recommended cleaning the watch at $300 to $400!!! They stated that the watch needed cleaning!
We took the watch to a jeweller that I have used in the past. Surprisingly, he only charged $10 for a new battery. The watch is working perfectly.
The above story indicates that one should be very careful with Time and Gold and maybe it might be a good idea to get a second opinion.
Note the company comment below. I will make two additional comments.
If the company bothered checking our history, we have never had free batteries before. We have always replaced the batteries with jewellers closer to where we live. It just happened that my wife was downtown and so had your company replace the battery. After you put in a battery that did not work, my wife suggested that you try another battery but the sales person was pretty firm that we had to spend 300 to $400 to clean the watch. Your company was not interested in trying another battery. The watch is working perfectly since another jeweller has replaced your battery.
From these two points, I can only conclude that you deserve a...
Read moreWATCH REPAIR ... Couple months ago I bought a Longines Ultra-Chron (Carbon model) from another authorized dealer. This is a high-beat watch with an excellent movement; it is spec'ed to be accurate to within +/- 2 spd. However, I found on a timegrapher mine was -3 spd. As I bought this exquisite watch for its lauded precision, I wanted it to be re-regulated.
Time&Gold, who is an authorized Longines dealer, told me they will gladly take it in for service under its warranty. Two weeks later they phoned me to inform that it's ready for pickup. (I was delighted and surprised at how fast their service was. My experience elsewhere was that Rolex and Tudor service takes about three months). Time&Gold service included re-regulation with testing in all six positions (not the regular five) plus a pressure/suction test - this was documented in their service report - thank you. As expected, there was no charge for the service.
After I a few days of wearing this serviced watch, I find that the accuracy is an astounding 0 s/d over three day sequence. Gosh! This is not only a testament to Longines Ultra-Chron but more specifically to Time&Gold's expert service department to endeavor such pursuit for excellent precision.
Thank you Time&Gold. You have once again, earned my...
