I am becoming a fan of this place. I’ve tried both of the vegetarian bowls on the menu, the goddess dill sweet potato bowl and the crazy falafel bowl. They were both really delicious and I love that they come packed with lots of fresh vegetables. The sauces are amazing. The portion size is filling and it’s good value. The bowls/wraps are very customizable; you can make substitutions off the standard menu items or just build your meal from scratch. There are lots of vegetarian combinations you can create, and it is possible to make a vegan meal even if the options aren’t as extensive. There’s also a big menu besides the bowls and wraps, I’m happy that the breakfast menu is available all day! They have some baked goods: cookies and muffins. I came one morning and got a muffin and wasn’t really impressed (but in fairness I accidentally grabbed chocolate chip when I meant to get blueberry and I don’t really like plain chocolate chip muffins). I like the cookies though! For drinks, they do coffee/tea and “refreshers”, which are like aguas frescas. I’ve tried a turmeric latte and the cucumber mint lime refresher. Both are good! The staff here is always really polite and they’ve created a nice environment to stay and...
Read moreThe wraps are open at both ends, but we didn't have drips through the wrapping so that seems okay. They're also massive -- more food than the bowls. I'd come back for the lamb and skip the falafel. We got the "signature" version of everything which is their typical toppings.
The Lamb bowl was really good. I think this one comes with eggplant dip and there was a great amount of sauce and lamb throughout the bowl.
The Crazy Falafel bowl was meh. I found the falafel too dry and not enough sauce. Maybe I didn't spread it around enough. I get falafel from 911 and Jerusalem Shawarma and like it more. Maybe it's a different style and this is more coarse. Or maybe it was more stale -- only one of my falafel dishes was fried fresh.
Crazy Falafel wrap with sweet potato was better. The potatoes add nice flavour and moisture.
I didn't try the Spicy spartan chicken wrap, but it seemed like a hit.
Neither of the bowls look as plentiful or as full of veggies as the menu photos. We...
Read moreGreat price point and quality matcha for what is now quite a high cost elsewhere. Previously been here before for food and had excellent meals. Unfortunately this time around when getting a latte and no food, on a Friday later afternoon- 2 people working and one who welcomed us initially was very impolite and rolled their eyes when we stated we were just ordering drinks not food.
The additional negative experience was when asking for less ice before the beverage was made and the same employee brushed it off and rolled their eyes again and you could tell they were irritated.
The space in general is fantastic and well kept, definitely would continue returning for food and drinks but the customer service needs some refinement and nobody should feel put out for simply ordering what they want, this is what the job entails- helping customers with satisfying their orders.
I won't come back if I see that this person is working at the time I pass by and will go elsewhere for...
