3 of us went there last night after hearing good reviews about them. We tried lahmajhoun (of course), half and half pastrami & mushroom/bbq chicken medium pizza, ayran, tiramisu cup, and chocolate eclair there (one of each item). The food was excellent! Every item was great! My favourite items were the pastrami and mushroom pizza and the tiramisu! The pizza crust was probably the best texture I have tried so far in Vancouver! The lahmajhoun crust was thin and yet soft! The pizza was full of flavour and perfect balance of sauce, toppings and cheese, and not greasy at all! My only suggestion would be to add some bbq flavour to the bbq chicken pizza by maybe grilling the chicken, but it still wasn't bad. Now let's talk about the customer service. It's a family-run business. We spoke and/or exchanged salam with all the family. They are super friendly, jolly and patient. We took a lot of time to order and few rounds of payments because we weren't organized. But they were super nice and did not make us feel rushed or annoying. We also bought different kinds of baklavas and cheesecakes to bring home and we haven't finished eating them all. I tried the strawberry cheesecake and the texture is so creamy and perfect! Not too sweet nor too tangy! The daughter single handedly makes all the baked goods (and there are so many different kinds!) and it's incredible how delectable each tastes! She really puts a lot of care and passion into them! She seemed very appreciative of us trying out her creations. We each spent ~$30 for all that food and dessert, which in my opinion is quite reasonable! Strongly encourage everyone to pay them a visit, I promise you will love the food and the service! Also, they have a prayer space and that's something we REALLY appreciated!

Title: A Slice of Heaven: The Best Pizza in Canada We recently had the pleasure of dining at what can only be described as a hidden gem in the heart of Canada - the perfect fusion of delectable pizza, warm ambiance, and the friendly & accommodating staff we’ve ever encountered. let’s talk about the star of the show - the pizza. Every bite was a revelation. The crust, crisp on the outside and delightfully chewy on the inside, was the perfect canvas for a tantalizing array of toppings. From classic Margheritas to creative, gourmet combinations, this pizzeria takes pride in crafting pies that are nothing short of extraordinary. The quality of ingredients was evident, with the freshest produce and finest cheeses gracing every slice. The prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality and quantity of food we enjoyed. It’s evident that this establishment values its patrons and strives to offer an exceptional dining experience without breaking the bank. In conclusion, if you’re on the hunt for the best pizza in Canada, look no further. This cozy haven combines mouthwatering pizza with a warm atmosphere and an incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. It’s a slice of heaven you won’t want to miss!

A great spread of food + board games. What brought me mostly to this place was a team outing plus the board games. This always adds fun to any social. The board games seating is downstairs so don't miss it. They do have a smaller selection of board games, but I'm sure you can bring your own. We ordered some pizzas and they were delivered fresh and tasty, the base was good and the toppings fresh. The Donair however didn't hit the spot. A wholewheat pita, that didn't tickle my fancy. It was on the dry side. The owners are friendly, and we were definitely greeted with a smile. However please don't ask for 5 star ratings, even though you are giving a complimentary drink for a review. It defeats the purpose. The atmosphere is quaint with some grass along the walls and just odds and ends which gives it a small cafe but larger than life vibe. The only thing I would say is to make sure the reservation matches the number of people. It's a small nit but worthwhile. Also very small thing to stops the cards from getting crumbs on them. Get some card covers. All in all a place I would go again for the pizzas.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Picado in Vancouver, and it was an exceptional experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my dining experience was perfect.

The food was absolutely delicious. I started with the Lahmoujan, which was bursting with flavour and perfectly cooked. The Donair Plate was a standout dish, meticulously prepared and full of rich, authentic Turkish flavours. The presentation was impeccable, and the portions were generous, making it excellent value for money.

One of the highlights of my meal was the Pistachio Baklava for dessert. It was a perfect blend of sweetness and texture, leaving me wanting more. The restaurant also offers a great selection of traditional Turkish teas, which complemented the meal beautifully.

Overall, Picado exceeded all my expectations. The combination of exquisite food, friendly staff, and a cozy atmosphere makes it a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Turkish cuisine in Vancouver. I can't wait to return and try more of their delicious dishes!

I hope this review captures the essence of a 5-star dining experience at Picado! Let me know if there's anything else I can...
