Oh, where to begin. From start to finish this was a disaster. The waitress was clearly not trained whatsoever. The drinks took absolutely ages to arrive. Then the food turned up piecemeal. The owner came over and when I tried to explain that we had all ordered for our food to arrive together, not 1 dish at a time he advised they could not serve us all together. When I asked how other customers felt about getting their dishes separately he got annoyed and walked off. Then he came back and said he would give us the latest round of drinks on the house. The drinks order then came out but was wrong, at which point the owner blamed the waitress and walked off. When the food came out it was half the size of usual portions. When I challenged him about my wife’s dish having chilli, which was not stated anywhere on the menu he stated it was a Spanish dish. I told him we had lived in Spain for 4 years, at which point he simply walked off. When he returned he dismissively said don’t pay for anything. I tried to simply explain how things had gone wrong but he wasn't having any of it and just walked away. That was the last we saw of him as he stood at the bar ignoring everyone, drinking beer. The whole experiences was like being in an episode of Gordon Ramseys “Kitchen Nightmares” The owner was clearly not experienced and had absolutely no ability to communicate with us, his customers, so simply argued with us then walked away. So yes we were not charged, but it ruined our first night here, with my wife having to go to a 7-11 shop...
Read moreI really really want to love this place! Came in tonight with my husband and young son. The little guy was tired and wanted to leave so my husband eventually took him home while I waited for the pizza. I think they were understaffed and super busy tonight because the service was SLOW but if you could catch a server walking by, they would help you right away. Everything we ordered was tasty- margherita stone-fired pizza, house salad, drinks… but the best part of this place is the ambiance. It feels like a local pizzeria/lounge in a cool roundhouse with stunning mountain views and even better music. They did the best they could with a packed house… I’m guessing someone on the wait staff called in sick last minute because they were running off their feet. They were so nice with kids though and I noticed a solo diner that walked in and was really well looked after. I will come back here to dine solo or with friends. Definitely a...

If you're looking for a slower paced vibe, ambience, good music, deliciious food and quality beverages try it out! I've been going to Joss for years now and truly appreciate what the owner is trying to do. This place hasn't been interior designed, nor gone through a corporate think tank, it's the owners heart and soul - the restaurant and menu is ever evolving. Everything from the food and beer, to the furnishings has been carefully selected based on the highest quality ingredients and materials.
Yes, service can be slow at times but do you really want to be bothered every 5 minutes with "how's those first few bites, or another round?" When your glass is still half full. I love coming here for the European flair and chilled vibe! I've tried everything on the menu and...
