Super expensive. Refer to the photo attached. The sinigang was $21 and it was pretty small, it’s just one size up from the small $10 dish Plato Filipino sell. The rice, as you can see it’s $16. I bought 2, $8 each and the one they gave me is the regular sized rice from Plato Filipino. For $42, I at least expected more. You can get a big Hot Pot bowl from Big Way or Boiling Point via Uber eats at the same price or at least 2 combos (4 different small dishes and 2 rice) from Plato Filipino for this price. It tastes okay but considering how their prices are basically like Max’s? Idk make it make sense.

Me and my wife try to taste their vegetables rolls and it was good and one of our favourite is the Dinuguan ang onion hopia and we definitely comeback again . To all we recommended this restaurant they have lots of different varieties of delicious Filipino food you should try it the price is reasonable and affordable This red is located in Joyce area near the Joyce train station

I love the taste of the food - it's very homey and you can tell by the number of Filipinos that go here. I remember one person said to me, "in order to tell if a certain ethnic restaurant is good, look at the number of people with the same ethnicity that eats there - they are the best judge of that restaurant because they know what their food should taste like". Most of all, I really love the ambiance here; it's very Filipino and it takes away a bit of my homesickness. The people are so nice, warm, welcoming, and accommodating. Their service overall is really good and they smile most of the time. They interact with their costumers and get to know them as well. They are kind and giving. As a group of students who ate here, they even allowed some of us to use their microwave even if we didn't buy any food from them. What a nice bunch of people.

Location is very busy and parking is hard to find, but it's close to other Filipino stores and restaurants. Some food can be so greasy, so just watch out for...

If you're looking for fresh cooked cafeteria food, Kumare is a fabulous choice for a wide variety of Filipino classic dishes, including BBQ skewers, fish, pork, chicken, beef, pancit canton, pancit bihon, steamed rice, lechon kawali, and many others! The people are kind - once I was completely broke, and they graciously fed me anyways! I paid them back as soon as I could, and I continue to hold them and their services in high esteem. Don't let the modest & sparse dining area fool you - this is High Quality Food at a relatively competitive price! Kumare treats me like a dear and valued neighbour! I do hope they will be able to expand their dining facilities ASAP, should they wish to do so! Right now, as it stands, this is an excellent value for the Communities. Should they choose to buy out their convenience store neighbours or move in order to expand and improve their dining room facilities and accommodate more customers, then I would like to give...

Went here first time today, I was looking forward to try their Sisig, as you know there's not much Filipino Restaurants in Vancity. That offers Sisig on their menu.

First impression on the restaurant is good, since they renovated the place and the the interior is good with big screen menus and food clean organized food counter.

So about the food. I was a dissapointed with quality of their Sisig it was a bit overcooked and lacks more love and flavor. The portion is big for the price you pay but lacks flavor and quality.

We also ordered the Sinigang Baboy, now this was good, good portion and flavourful. All in all I would say they have good menus, clean restaurant and organized. I just hope they pay more attention on their Sisig as it will make a huge difference especially towards filipinos who knows quality and how it should be. Staff was friendly...
