I recently discovered a hidden Thai restaurant that exceeded all my expectations. Tucked away from the bustling streets, this place offers a truly authentic dining experience. First and foremost, the service was exceptional. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the menu and gladly answered all our questions. Now, let's talk about the food. The flavors were simply delightful. From the aromatic herbs and spices to the perfectly balanced sauces, each dish was a burst of authentic Thai flavors. The menu had a wide variety of options, catering to both meat lovers and vegetarians. I highly recommend trying their signature dishes, as they truly showcase the chef's skills. One aspect that pleasantly surprised me was the affordability. Despite the high quality of the food and service, the prices were very reasonable. In fact, they even offer a lunch special that is worth taking advantage of. It's a great opportunity to sample their delicious cuisine without breaking the bank. Although the restaurant may be hidden, it is definitely worth seeking out. The combination of excellent service, delicious food, and reasonable prices make it a must-visit for any Thai food enthusiast. I will definitely be returning to explore more...
Read moreTerrible experience with Mali, after ordering from them numerous times. Ordered their Chicken Pineapple fried rice (requested no cashews) and also their Chicken Pad Thai with no tofu and also no peanuts. Arrived at home to find that peanuts had be put into my Pad Thai. Called back, spoke with a gentleman who at first tried to tell me that I did not say "no peanuts". Which is ridiculous as the fried rice had no cashew nuts in it. When I would not back down, he said "oh, sorry. Someone made a mistake", then promptly told me to eat around the peanuts ("the peanuts don't touch the rest of the food"). Clearly this gentleman does not know how allergies work (as I had taken a few bites prior to noticing). When I asked how they'll rectify this issue, he wanted me to drive back to the location during rush hour and they'd make a new one. When I said I couldn't do so, there was no offer to have it delivered to me or any promissory note for a free one next time. I subsequently became ill/reaction and I will not be eating here ever again and will consider contacting the Better Business Bureau. If this company can be so flippant with people's health, especially when it's their mistake, it makes...
Read moreSadly, after having been a customer here since 2010, including under the original ownership, it’s frustrating to see the slow decline with the new(ish) ownership (who previously worked in the kitchen prior). Post covid things began to change, and sadly they are continuing. First, removal of long standing items, like brown rice as an option. Then increased prices, that have consistently snuck up. Even after Covid hikes. Not long ago I realized the to go container used with my order (that hasn’t differed from day one) was smaller than usual. I assumed they were perhaps low on larger ones for a while. But now I see that it’s the latest change allowing for smaller portions. A personal pet peeve is the addition of cling wrap on top of the fitted to go lids. Forever chemicals and the environment don’t warrant the need. Perhaps it’s time to go back to tall packaging if leaks are an issue. Although you argued these points in store, trust that a customer of 15 years knows what he’s talking about. Customer service warrants understanding and listening...
