Would rate 2.5 stars overall more to adjust the google rating down based on my standards. I see that this was Michelin mentioned. I always read reviews before I go but didn’t see any mention of it being tapas style. I look at menus to see what on it, Pricing etc. saw they had a platter in a photo 6 months ago but disappointed was no longer on the menu. SERVICE: 3.5 - nothing wrong with the service, staff was friendly but really had little interactions as we were seated. Handed menu. Ordered. Food brought out and asked how things were. We were in the restaurant for less than an hour from seating to paying. So can’t really give more details. Not compared to other places where we were there longer and required more or had out of the ordinary service. FOOD TASTE 3.5 Greek salad $19 - standard but you do get a block of cheese The roast lamb was good. Not too fatty. But for $34 at other Greek restaurants you are getting rice and salad included. The octopus was $24 and we got 2 pieces one was about 4” and the other was about 3” and there was some sauce on the plate. Was tasty. Saganaki came out on metal dish with no bread like other photos. Was good $15 Pork chops - $10 a piece min 2. Came with two cuts of tomato, red onion and tsaziki. They were bite size. Size of the fork. VALUE 1-2 😬 Once we were seated was told it was tapas style 😳 didn’t realize before. Was shocked how little food we got for so much money! I’ve ordered a ton at a really good and quality Japanese restaurant and paid around $100 before tax/tip. Been to cuchillo and had a $35 tasting menu (so price of one roast lamb) with a shockingly good amount of food! Maybe we’re not so cultured to appreciate or just sticker shocked. But there are a ton of really good places that are high end I would chose to go to instead that I thought were expensive but not in comparison.

First time visit in late October. It's a bit dark inside during dinner service and they were kind of busy (reservations would be a good idea). Started off with the Patzarosalata ($19.00) - loved the red and golden beets. It's served with shaved almonds, goat cheese mousse citrus and drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette and evoo. If you like beets like I do, you'll love this dish. The Dolmathes ($14.00) are vine leaves stuffed with rice and herbs and paired with a lemon sauce. We really liked the Oktapodi ($26.00). The grilled octopus was super tender with a slight char to the exterior. The main that we picked was the Moussaka ($22.00) - made with layers of eggplant, zucchini, potatoes, ground beef, and béchamel sauce. A hearty and creamy dish that will satisfy your hunger. We finished off with a traditional Greek pistachio dessert called Ekmek. I've only had this once before and it was very well done. Not as sweet as you'd might think given the shredded phyllo is soaked in syrup but the creamy centre and whipped cream compliment each other. After our meal, they brought over some complimentary pistachio nougat, rose-flavoured Turkish delight and caramel popcorn. Overall, food quality is quite good. Probably best to share dishes family-style so you can try a little bit of everything. UPDATE July 2024: Returned for a revisit. The patzarosalata (beet salad) was as good as ever. As was the moussaka. We also tried something different this time... the Seafood Youvetsi which is a plate of creamy orzo mixed with various bits of seafood like prawns, clams, calamari, and octopus.

Last month, my fiancé and I had the pleasure of dining at this establishment while we were in the vicinity of Fraser Street. It had been on our list of places to try, and we were certainly not disappointed with the food. Since we were there for lunch, we opted to order a moderate amount of food. We selected the hummus house spread, the kalamari, and the Arni Psito. The hummus was delicious, boasting a creamy texture and perfectly balanced seasoning. We found the portion size of the Kalamari to be appropriate for two people, although the dish itself was not particularly outstanding, it was still enjoyable. The lamb shoulder dish, accompanied by mashed potatoes and broccolini, was absolutely delectable. My fiancé and I both agreed that we had never tasted mashed potatoes quite like those, as they possessed a savory flavor with a subtle hint of sweetness that perfectly complemented the meal. The lamb shoulder was incredibly tender and paired wonderfully with the other components of the dish. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the meal and would certainly consider returning to sample other dishes. While we did not order any beverages this time, we would be open to trying them if we were to dine there for dinner in the future.

Visited this restaurant on Aug 1, 2025 for dinner. The food was good but nothing special compared to other Greek restaurants, but the service is another story. We were sat by the hostess and asked us if we wanted still or sparkling, we responded but nobody brought us water so then we waited around for 10 minutes completely ignored by everyone before finally, the asian male bartender came by and asked us if we wanted still or sparkling. He immediately provided us with water and informed us our waitress would be coming by shortly.

We waited around for another 15 minutes wondering who our server was when all of a sudden she comes up to us and asked us what we wanted. I was initially confused who this random person was because I had seen her pass by our table multiple times already without acknowledging us at all so I didn’t think she was our server. Moreover, when she came up to us, there was no introduction whatsoever, no “hello I will be your server”, no “how are you”, no explanation of the menu or the food, nothing, just “what do you want to order”.

Our first two items come out quickly then it takes another 25 minutes before our other items come. During this time, our dirty plates were not cleared but our waitress cleared and replaced the plates of other tables (including the table next to ours) and filled the waters of other tables, just not ours.

We finish our food and were looking to order dessert however our waitress was busy talking to another table for 15-20 minutes with her back turned to us and when it finally seemed like she was done talking, she goes to get them more wine glasses and then goes back to chatting with them again. During this time we were clearly trying to get someone’s attention but all the workers just ignored us and were instead, wiping bottles with towels or talking amongst themselves instead of attending to guests.

So eventually, since our server was busy chatting up a storm with another table, we look up the dessert menu online ourselves and went up to the bartender to ask him to ring in our dessert order. Our waitress brought our dessert out, which was really the only service she provided us so far other than taking our initial order. However, it was again the bartender who cleared our dessert plates, refilled our waters, and thanked us when we left. None of these minimum service expectations was done by our own waitress.

Since we had 20 minutes to kill while waiting for our server to finish chatting with another table, we wrote a review with our honest opinions about the food and service. On our way out, one of the workers made a remark about the review. What this showed me though was that at least one worker was aware that we were unhappy with the service and instead of getting someone to come up to us and ask about the issue, apologize or try to make things right, consciously chose to do absolutely nothing but make a side comment behind our backs as we are leaving.

Although the food was fine, the experience of being ignored by everybody and especially our own waitress and the awareness that we were unhappy but didn’t care enough to do anything about it, turned me off from ever returning again or recommending this restaurant to anyone. However I do want to commend the bartender’s service who was friendly, helpful, efficient and proactive even though we didn’t sit at the bar, we weren’t his table, and he was busy making drinks for the entire restaurant. The two stars is for the food and the...

Food was delicious and price point was on the higher end. I would have left this review with 5 stars if it weren't for a few things that happened during service. I ate with my family, a total party of 5. In order, my gf ordered her food, my brother ordered his food, and then I had ordered for my aunt, mom, and myself. Everyone had received their order except for my brother. We're already halfway eating our orders, till our server comes in to check on us and we had asked if our missing order is coming. She had said that it was miscommunicated that the order I have made for my aunt, mom and I were to be shared with my brother, but he had placed his order separately ahead of us. It was no problem except for the fact that by the time my brother recieved his order, everyone was done their meal. The server offered us dessert as compensation for the ordeal which we glady accepted. Another 10-15mins went by as we're waiting for dessert, we had asked for the bill since it was starting to get late. The server then begins to clear our table and wipe it down as we're still sitting there, which I thought was odd. (The wiping down of the table was odd, wouldn't that be done after you're finished eating) We then received our dessert, which was delicious, followed by our receipt. I double check it and the dessert was charged. I asked our server and she said she had forgot and proceeded to take it out from our total bill. She then gave the new bill to my mother who was paying for our meal becuase it was my birthday and the server was ready with the machine. I asked my mom to let me check the receipt to make sure it was correct, and it was quick check, I handed it back to my mom and told her it was correct. We were ready to pay but the server was gone and at the bar speaking to another server with her back turned to us holding the machine. I tried waving them down but no answer til I exaggerated my wave movement.

Overall the food and the atmosphere was great. I understand that our server was also new and that there are other customers as well in the restaurant, but little things can build up to a not so good experience. I want to give this place another chance cause it's really close to home and the food...

Upon a recommendation I booked a dinner here recently for myself and a friend. I was excited to try this place out and looking forward to some good food. I was also very much looking forward to catching up with my guest. and unfortunately the poor service level at Nammos made for a disappointing experience. We arrived on time for our reservation at 6:15 and were promptly seated. The atmosphere as predicted for a smaller and open room was a bit loud but totally acceptable. The first server offered us a drink at which time we ordered cocktails and mentioned that we would order a bottle of wine with dinner. Shortly after having been asked twice about our order we told them what we wanted, we also told them to take their time and that we were in no rush so please pace the food. Now I am under now expectation that we were going to spend more time than our seating would allow and I fully understand that restaurants need to turn over tables to turn a profit. I was just asking to not have all our food come out at once. like an appetizer first type of service. Well shortly after guess what happened, all of our food was brought out at once. All except a single dish. So I asked for them to hold that one. we literally had no room at the table. The waitress looked confused and said that the order was already in. So I reminded her that we had asked for some pacing of dishes. Also at this time they never cleared our cocktails glasses (adding to more clutter on the table and didn't come to take our wine order. In fact they didn't come back at all and I had to hold my hand up with the wine menu to get their attention. The wine finally came and our cocktail glasses stayed. Next up far too soon as we hadn't even finished a single plate yet and out came our last dish. At this point the table is overflowing and items are getting cold. luckily I was in good company and we didn't let the poor service ruin our catching up. Over all I found the food to be enjoyable but unfortunately it was overshadowed by the poor service. I would not recommend this place if you are looking for any thoughtful, polite and aware service. likely a great place...
