Upon entering the establishment, my partner and I found the bar completely empty. We asked where it would be easiest for us to sit and requested two Shaft cocktails. We were informed that the coffee required for the drinks wasn’t prepared and would need to be retrieved from next door. While this was unexpected, we responded politely and assured the staff it wasn’t a problem. We seated ourselves in a booth and were soon greeted by a new server, Michaela, who was wearing a black baseball cap. When I inquired about the daily specials and draft options, she responded by abruptly placing the menus on the table and telling us to read them ourselves. Her tone and demeanor came across as dismissive and unnecessarily rude. The food and service throughout the visit were mediocre at best. Michaela’s attitude did improve slightly toward the end of our experience, but unfortunately, the damage had already been done. As someone with over 15 years in the hospitality industry, I understand the pressures of the job and am generally very forgiving. However, this level of service was unacceptable. It’s difficult to understand how a business can continue operating in today’s competitive climate with such poor customer service. If I were managing this establishment, I would seriously reconsider the employment of staff who treat guests with such disregard.

Disappointing. Wednesday is wings night and there was nothing special about them at all. In fact even though it wasn't busy at all, they came burnt. Like really burnt and so crusty. They were terrible. Unfortunately, we couldn't return them to the kitchen because we were in a rush which is why we even picked this place in the first place and ordered just wings. Thought it would be quick and easy. Next time we will go somewhere else even if in a rush. Staff was very polite but waitress didn't come back to check with us until we had only the burnt wings left and had eaten the least burnt ones. We couldn't even eat some because they were so bad. She asked how is it and I just shrugged and she just said great and moved on. Then sat for a long time waiting for the bill. My husband even went back to our hotel brushed his teeth and came back and still hadn't gotten the bill. Had to go find her to pay.

Used to have great food that came at a premium price that was justified. Unfortunately they had a change up in the kitchen and the pizzas we ordered both of them were made incorrectly the first time. One was missing ingredients listed on menu and the other they cooked ingredients that were supposed to be added at the end. The second pizzas they brought were undercooked slightly but ended up making the pizza worse than a dominos pizza. They charge about $16+ per entree including pizzas. It’s sad because we loved the place the last time we were there just a couple weeks ago. I added a couple pics to show how unappetizing my second pizza turned out. Also might just be me but I really dislike it when places add the parts of a pepper or jalapeño that isn’t meant to be eaten like the stem.

I didn't like this place and I don't plan on going back. I wasn't going to review this place, but I feel like I owe an explanation. First, as soon as I sat down, I spent more than 10 minutes waiting to be served. We realized that no waiter would approach our table, so my husband kept raising his hand until he was finally seen and served. Second, as soon as the beer arrived we realized that the beer was bad, because the beer was dull, flat (honey lager). My husband told the waiter why the beer was bad and asked to replace it with another type of beer which this time was good. The second beer my husband ordered was a bottle and it took them a long time to bring the beer. Again after waiting for a while, my husband had to go find a waiter to order his beer again. After a while, the waiter came to our table to ask what beer my husband ordered and it wasn't good, and my husband replied what it was. Later, with some friends, we ordered a pitcher of beer with nachos. Unbelievable, they sent the bad beer, flat. I thought the waiter had come to our table to ask which beer was bad so as not to serve it to anyone else, but they served it to us again knowing that we didn't want to drink that beer. When we asked about the beer he served us, he replied that we couldn't get another type of beer with the nachos, and for this nachos with beer promotion, there are 2 options available. If there is no second option, they should have the decency to serve us another one instead since the Honey lager is not good. To finish the nachos we ordered took forever to get to us. Anyway, everything was bad from the beginning to the end. Because of all this, we didn't pay a tip and when the waiter saw this, he started questioning us. He started by asking how the service was. My husband, embarrassed in front of his friends, didn't want to tell the truth. Then the waiter continues the interrogation by asking what country we are from. Probably to find out which country doesn't pay tips. Anyway, very embarrassing. Just to satisfy the waiter's curiosity, yes, in our country we do pay tips, but if it's terrible service like the one you provided us, we don't pay tips. Maybe that's why the service in my country is so much better than in Canada and the United States. Here, the waiter basically seems to become your best friend only when we ask for the bill. Waiters serve you badly, and in the end people reward them with tips. Maybe if they stop tipping for bad service, the service here will improve. Bad experience. I wished I hadn't even...

Normally I don't like to write bad reviews but I'll make an exception with this place. My friend and I visited this bar for the very first time for a Friday karaoke night organised by another friend. Everything was going great and we were having a good time but the night came to an end in a weird way.

After asking for a glass of water, I was told by the server that we needed to order something in order to stay at the bar, otherwise we would need to leave. A few minutes later she comes back asking if we wanted to order anything. After telling her we didn't, she said we would have to leave right away because she needed the table for other people, which was a lie because the bar was pretty much empty.

We agreed to leave but decided to stay and listen to one more song before leaving. When the server saw that we hadn't left yet, she spoke to one of the bartenders who came and spoke to us and told us that if we weren't going to order anything then we would need to leave right away.

We spoke to our friend who organised the karaoke and explained the situation to her. She told us that since she's been hosting these karaoke nights in this bar, she has never seen this kind of behaviour from the serving staff and has also never heard about this bar's ordering policy. Nowhere in the bar did it say, in order to stay and listen to the karaoke you had to order something, otherwise you would have to leave.

I understand that servers get paid from what people order and their tips, but being part of the hospitality industry, I also know that you need to provide good service to all customers, no matter the circumstances. You shouldn't make potential customers feel rejected, like they made us feel at the end of the night.

At the beginning of the night I was thinking about coming back here and recommending this place for another karaoke night with friends, but after what happened, I won't be returning here and won't recommend this bar...

I visited here on Saturday evening for the UFC fights. This was hands down the worst service I have ever experienced. Not only were many of the beer lines down and kegs warm, but attitude from management was ridiculous. Also, there were mice under the table!

Our table was charged cover, (which was expected), however, it was tagged onto my bill with a mandatory gratuity attached. In effect, I was charged %18 TIP gratuity on our cover charge. I have never seen gratuity charged on a tip in my life. Furthermore, the service was atrocious.

Our order was wrong on several occasions and our servers were doing shots while serving and obviously intoxicated. My friend ordered a margherita pizza and recieved a margarita instead!

Additionally, one of the servers shouted at someone from our table in front of the whole resturant and then apologized because he was, "the wrong person."

When my wife and I requested cover gratuity removed from my bill, we faced a ton of pushback and hostility from staff and management. Even though I was more than right to request the entire gratuity removed (given the brutal service, the drunk staff, and the mice on the floor!). The manager even claimed their "machine doesn't do refunds."

Finally, I received a small portion of what I was owed and the staff boo'd and clapped us out the restaurant. In addition to speaking about us rudely throughout the restaurant.

While both parties share blame in escalating the situation, I was appalled by the complete inability of the staff to remain even remotely professional despite our efforts to reduce tensions and come to a mutual agreement.

Safe to say I will not be returning. Also, staff drinking while serving alcohol in a mouse infested restaurant is probably worthy of some...
