Santapan Indonesian Grill Food Truck — Restaurant in Vancouver

I saw them parked in the Olympic Village area so thought I'd give them a blind try. I got the chicken on rice and sorry to say, even though all three variety of sauces that came with the dish were great, rice was criminally undercooked and chicken was so dry it felt like sand. Also while I do appreciate the modern aesthetics, some components in the dish just felt out of place and inauthentic. This visit really did not do it for me but I may give it another try since it's in my area and update the score...

Really happy with my order. Delivery was super fast, portions are good sized and fresh. I spend a lot of time in Indonesia and crave the flavours. This is a somewhat western twist on Indonesian classics and I really enjoyed it. I hope they have authentic sambal i would like to try that next time to add the fire spice. I can literally eat this everyday. Fresh flavors that don't leave you feeling too full even though the serving sizes are solid. They make all of their own sauces which are very unique and tasty.
