Thanks karizia (sp?) for pouring >90s expired shots into my macchiato on Nov 6, 2024 at 5:15PM. Under filling my steamed milk because your steaming jug was empty, and the half hearted caramel drizzle. Paid over $6 for this high mark up drink. Incredible margins yet the company has been hemorrhaging for the last few years in North America. The staff here throw a lot of recyclables in the garbage. For example, the foil bags for store-use espresso here can actually be recycled at the zero waste centre right next door.

Every time ordering cold beverages I have an issue in this Starbucks. I used to order via app and ask with no ice option but when I’m there to pick up my order there’s always 1/3 cup of ice. But the last drop was when barista told me to order late next time instead of espresso to have no ice. Excuse me?! Instead of removing ice from the drink you recommend me to order another beverage with less espresso shots and just add them for additional payment to have basically the same drink??

I’ve been to this location for three times now, the staff welcome you with a smile and they are really fast even if there is a line it goes in no time. Nice little seating area inside and outside, couple steps away from the bus station. The sandwich in the picture is Turkey panini with pesto, so yummy.

As a regular Starbucks customer at other locations, I find that they usually have good customer service. I just wanted to share an experience I had today at this location around 8am. I was getting bloodwork done at the Lifelabs beside this location and needed some water. When I went into this location I asked the cashier if they had any bottled water. The cashier pointed me to the flavored water at the front and I explained I cant have any flavoring because of the bloodwork I had scheduled soon. She then asked if I wanted some tap water no-ice and I thanked her and said yes. I was the only person in line and the other two customers in the store were seated so I assumed it wouldnt take long. The cashier continued to work with some bags on the counter and the barista continued to make drinks, so I assumed they are making some pick-up orders which I understand. What bothered me was when another customer came in about 4 minutes after me and the cashier took his order, made his drip coffee, and warmed his pastry and he was able to go on his way. To me this took more time to complete than to get a small cup of water. This gives the impression that the cashier only values current paying customers and does not see service as a whole. I thank the team lead who came out of the back and jumped in and was able to give me a cup of water. She even asked if I needed a lid which I said I did not. I thank her because as I walked into Lifelabs, they called my name right after.

I admit, perhaps I could be misunderatanding the situation. Perhaps its the barista's responsiblity to make drinks in a cold cup and thats why the cashier didnt see the need to complete my order. Still, I would hope the cashier could see my issue with this and see how her decisions may...

I’m a Starbucks patron but I came in today not wanting anything else but to kindly ask the barista to refill my reusable water bottle. It’s normally not a problem at all. However this particular barista had told me that the water (tap water!) is only for customers.

I really didn’t want anything and didn’t feel like it was very nice to have to buy something just so I can be extended basic decency — which is really just tap water.

Walked out because who has the time to argue with that barista. I just hope it made such a positive and significant difference to withhold drinking water knowing that someone went up to ask you for some! hopefully when you’re in my shoes, more kindness will be extended to you lol (mind you my water bottle is not even 100 ml!) (I can attach a photo of said water bottle!)

Anyway, this wasn’t nice. Absolutely did not feel nice about this hence the lengthy review. It’s just tap water. I didn’t even ask for a cup. I had my own bottle. It’s so off brand for Starbucks to extend service like this. I know this shortcoming is not on Starbucks as an establishment but rather just that barista who was just being a difficult and unkind human being.

Thought I’d just make this incident known tho. It’s so off brand for Starbucks. Maybe explicitly tell your baristas to be decent human beings or kind at the very least.

Love Starbucks love most baristas but this was one just not a...

Many Experiences we have in a Day, Week etc. Some of the most memorable or lasting ones are usually doing simple things in Life eg. getting a Coffee. I've passed by and gotten a beverage at this particular Starbucks Store several times while taking the Train. The Experience has been super fantastic only always. Superior Warm Reception, Social Distancing Measures in place, Staff are super courteous, jovial and continuously deliver the same consistent Service. Genuinely take pleasure in capturing the moment to make it a lasting memory. I truly believe Staff here have either it figured out, are just super Happy OR even fully understand that it takes very few minutes to make that impression, to make someone's day OR wish someone a beautiful day. Frankly and honestly, now I go out of my way to go to this Store. Kudos to ALL the Fantastic Staff here. ONE such Staff I was served by more than a few times is Priyanka. So sorry for my delayed review. She consistently beats the prior experience and sets a new one, majestic presence, and courteous service and attention to detail. Collecting Points is sometimes little confusing coz ONE TRICK to earn Points is to load the SB Card first before purchasing beverages. She's assisted me patiently explaining Card details also. Overall, superior fantastic experience plzzzz...
