This is the second time I have been here. The first time I ordered through online. One of the oysters was dead and was just shell. This time I decided to go in person to choose the oysters myself. When you enter the place there is a row of oysters on each side of the center tank. The right side had the more expensive oysters. The left had mainly cheaper oysters. I got my oysters from the left side 2 oysters @ $2 each and 12 @ $1.25 each (royal miyagi, lighthouse, and I'm not sure what the 2$ one was). When I got to the cashier one of the ladies was trying to say that two of my cheaper oysters were actually the more expensive ones. I told her that all my oysters were from the left side. She insisted I took some from the right side of the tank. I told her if that's what she thinks she can take those two oysters back. I should have just walked out then because it's very offensive. Why would I be trying to cheat the store out of $1.25? The other cashier (Andrea? I think) was very sweet and apologized for the situation but I won't be returning. I highly recommend checking out oyster Express for your oyster cravings. The guy is courteous, shucks the oysters for you and provides all the condiments for the oysters.
TLDR; went to buy oysters. The asian lady who works here basically tried to accuse me of lying. Oysters here aren't even that fresh. Avoid online ordering for oysters because you might end up with some empty...
Read moreLive lobster, crab, and oysters are often considered some of the best options for seafood enthusiasts for several reasons:
Freshness: Live seafood is the epitome of freshness. When you order live lobster, crab, or oysters, you can be confident that you're getting seafood at its peak quality and flavor.
Flavor: Live seafood tends to have a more delicate and succulent flavor compared to seafood that has been frozen or stored for an extended period. The natural sweetness of these creatures is best preserved when they are alive until just before cooking.
Texture: The texture of live lobster and crab is exceptional. When cooked properly, the meat is tender, juicy, and full of natural juices, making it a delightful dining experience. Oysters, on the other hand, are prized for their unique texture and briny, oceanic taste.
Interactive Dining: There's an interactive aspect to dining on live seafood. Preparing and cracking open a lobster or crab can be a fun and engaging experience, perfect for social gatherings and special occasions.

I've tried lobster rolls only a couple of times on the East Coast of Canada and thoroughly enjoyed them, so when I saw this place I was very excited. Unfortunately, it was quite the letdown.
The lobster mix is served with a celery and dill mayo mix, but it was very bland overall with no real flavor. It was also quite wet and lots of liquid dripped out of the sandwich which isn't the most pleasant eating experience. It's served on a brioche bun which wasnt very tasty with it, there was far too much bun and it wasn't really cut properly meaning it was hard to eat and get a bite with both lobster mix and bun, you almost had to eat them separately in order not to lose all the filling, so then you're left with a bunch of average brioche at the end which didn't seem all that fresh, saw another customer also throwing out their leftover brioche. Personally I feel like brioche isn't really the right choice for a lobster roll to begin with. It all came out to us in less than a minute after ordering which seemed suspiciously fast. The potato chips served alongside it were probably the most flavorful part of the meal.
These rolls cost around $25 per piece and it was definitely not worth it for a pretty disappointing experience. Would...
