disappointing. the slowest cafeteria style place I have ever been to and once received, the meal value was very poor. With the intent of having a brief lunch, my guest and I entered Tractor around 12:40...nearing the end of the lunch rush. I ordered a turkey sandwich with a soup and my guest ordered a salad adding up to about $35. the soup and salad were served at the cashier on payment and the sandwich was to be served after. We finished the foods we had but the sandwich had not yet arrived. We waited a while longer and noticed the restaurant was mostly empty so I assumed the sandwich was forgotten. I got up from my seat with my assigned number card and asked about it. I got an apology and within a few minutes my sandwich was served but then my first bite revealed the only turkey meat used was greasy, slimy dark meat...even though the sandwich on display had white turkey meat. I think it's only fair to expect to receive what I am shown and I believe anybody who orders a turkey sandwich expects white meat...especially at that price. I should mention that I like most foods but dark turkey meat is not one of them. I discarded the bite I had taken, returned the sandwich and suggested they be more specific in future. They offered a replacement but I had run out of time at that point. In the end, the brief lunch was twice as long as expected, the soup and salad cost $35 and I was left with a bad taste...

First of all I love the food here. I always feel like their offerings are healthy and tasty. I absolutely love their pistasio dark chocolate cookies. My favourite lunch item is their kale salad with grilled chicken breast and avocado. The part I find very frustrating is that they look at like like an alien if I ask for 2 salads in 2 bowls to go. They just cannot figure it out. About the 10th time I ordered it I asked 'can you let me know what to say to get this order right, I just don't know' I got the largest millennial eye roll of my life. The counter lady spoke loudly and condescendingly 'just say you'd like one portion of salad with chicken and avocado and then ask for another'. She then continued to glare at us and slam things until her boss told her to go take a break. This isn't the first time I've experience extreme rudeness here but that damn salad has me coming back. It's the cycle of violence and abuse...I just feel like I deserve it. I've developed an eye tick and flinching reflex at the thought of ordering there. Just kidding but honestly get some new...

I’ve been coming here for years. Overall I do like the food. The quality has always been good. I think the main negative caveat is the some and I want to stress only some of the staff are just not on the ball. For one I always ask for my tuna to be cooked well done. Sure enough 95% of the time I get it served to me totally rare and everytime I have to ask them to cook it more.

Second the portion size. I usually order a half chicken sandwich for my daughter who likes to eat the chicken separate from the sandwich. I got it served to me the other day and there was the most pathetic portion of chicken in there (photo attached). For that amount of money you should atleast get a descent amount. What a joke. This place is good but in my opinion horribly mismanaged.

Update - for the last 4 yrs I always ask my tune to be cooked a little more. Now all of a sudden they refuse to do it and say they’re not allowed. Completely over this place. Will not be...

I've lived just a couple blocks away from Tractor for years, but for some reason haven't stopped in before recently. That was a terrible mistake, as this place is awesome. We've had lunch here a few times now, and it's always delicious whatever we have. The salads are the picture of freshness, and the soup/sandwich combo always impresses. Especially when enjoyed while sitting on their nice little patio. Our last visit we had the meatball sandwich, and I'm tempted to have it again for lunch today. Paired with the lentil soup, it's about as tasty and healthy as a casual lunch can get. As a bonus, the place is kept very clean, the staff is super friendly, and they have proper water glasses instead of plastic – an environmentally mindful touch we don't overlook. We're regulars now, and definitely recommend the place to anyone looking for some great food in Kits.

It’s a nice place and a great alternative to have healthy fast food instead of drive through style fast food for lunch. It is a healthy and easy food choice with a selection of salads, soups and a variety of protein, including vegetarian options. If you are in rush, in the middle of the day, this is a worthy place to drop-in. It is nice that you don’t need to wait, so it saves time. I think the price for what you get, portion wise, is a little bit high, but the food was fresh and tasty. Basically, it reminds me of a cafeteria with healthy food options.
