Jin Mee is a good place for lunch if you work around the Yonge/Steeles area. It is inside the food court in the Galleria supermarket. I can't say much about other dishes, because my default go-to is the pork bone soup, which they do a pretty decent job on. A year or so back before their store name changed, the pork bone soup is of variable quality. One of the big no-no's for pork bone soup is the pork not being tender and there have been some not so good ones there. Ever since they have changed to "Jin Mee", I find their pork bone soup to be quite consistently good (tender and flavourful). Can't go wrong with that for under $10! There is no ambience to speak of, being in a food court and all. So I would recommend going there alone for a quick lunch only.

this $20 plate is NOT bulgogi!! this is tough, dry and loose bits of blanched beef jerky tossed with rough cut onion and pepper served luke warm. i was very much upset, since i expected a hot sizzling plate of yummy fatty beef and onions. i felt sorry for the vegetable. im sorry to waste food, but i can only throw it out. do not order this here. it was my fault, the Bulgogi inside Galleria supermarket hot food section is better and cheaper no comment on service, neutral on that.

I just had the best lunch at Jinmee in the Galleria food court! Their Pork Bone Soup (Gamja Tang) is seriously amazing—it came out in a sizzling hot pot, and it hit the spot. I have to give a special shoutout to the radish in sweet and sour juice! I've never been served anything like it with Korean food before, and it was so good I asked for more. The lady at the counter was super nice and hooked me up with another full serving for free. I'll definitely be back for more!

Used to be a go-to Korean food place, not anymore. This food place served great food not long before lockdown.. Not sure if the decrease in food quality is caused by Covid, but we used to always eat here after shopping at the supermarket section of Galleria. Our soups (especially the Korean Pork bone soup), was only served with the pork and bones, with no potatoes or vegetables that would normally be in the famous dish. However, the service is absolutely fine and the worker was nice as well.

Not sure if this is a one-time problem, but it needs...

This little restaurant at the food court area of Galleria has absolutely amazing food at a reasonable price. I ordered the seafood tofu soup with rice for only 8.99 plus tax. That's cheaper than a McDonald combo. The pot was piping hot when I got it from the counter. It was just delightful with silky tofu, tasty shrimp and the broth just had the right amount of heat and seasoning. The rice was also cooked perfectly. If you are around the Yonge and Steeles area, check out this small joint. You will not be...
