The restaurant is located inside the Galleria Korean Grocery Store in Thornhill. They serve Chinese Korean staples like Jjajangmyun, Jjamppong and Tangsuyuk. These are dishes that are easy to find in the GTA but I find that only a few places can do them well. Mark this place as a legit contender for the best Jjajangmyun and Jjamppong. The price, portion size and taste are all on point. We ordered the Jjamppong and Jjajangmyun. The broth of my Jjamppong was spicy and full. The noodles used had the perfect consistency and thickness. The only critique I can offer is that I wish the Jjamppong had more seafood but for the price that they are charging, I can understand why they are offering the amount size. The Jjajangmyun was not on the sweeter side which I enjoyed. That made it a win for me. You need to order your food first, wait for your number to be called and pick up your food, cafeteria style. The eating area can be busy and loud. Seating are limited during busy time but you should be able to find a space. Make sure to return your tray back to the restaurant area as you need to clean up after yourself. There are plenty of parking but it gets chaotic if Galleria is busy. They do take credit cards.

The jjajjangmyun is very good. Taste is savory. The tungseoyok was actually disappointing. Portion was very reasonable for combo #20 (jjangmyun + tungseoyok). When I asked them what the difference was from the combo #20 vs #16 tungseoyok, apparently the combo is half the size of the straight order of tungseoyok. The tungseoyok was pretty good when it was hot. Once it got colder, it became tough and chewy. In addition, the sauce is most definitely way darker than your run of the mill tungseoyok. It was a bit overpowering with sweet and salty. Not very sour. They also included like zero veggies. Only onions and a couple piece of purple cabbage. There was no other veggies in it. No peppers, no carrots, no pineapple, no water chestnuts. Super sad about that. Jjangmyun is a win. The tungseoyok is a fail imo.

Super cheap and delicious Korean Chinese fusion cuisine. Don't skip on this shop just because it's in a foodcourt. The food comes out super quick but is delicious and portions are big. $8 for black bean noodles and $10 for jjamjja is a steal. The jjamppong always has a lot of seafood. The jjajang is a little salty but still tasty. They even sell just jjanjang sauce if you want to make some at home!

This place is inside Galleria by their food court. I always get their jjajangmyun and tangsuyuk but I have also tried the jjamppong.

Here's a review for each:

  1. Jjajangmyun

I find their jjajang sauce to be the best out of all the places I've been to. My family is also a huge fan and we would grab whenever they come to visit the area.

  1. Tangsuyuk

The tangsuyuk is not overly breaded compared to other places so it has a good pork-to-breading ratio. I'm not much of a fan of tangsuyuk but it was really good that I wouldn't mind having it again.

I haven't had the jjamppong in awhile so I don't really remember how it was to be able to write about it.

I would give four and a half stars but I can't. Not five stars either because I'm only writing about two of their dishes! Would like to give the other ones a try as well. The price is decent for the amount of...

Horrible customer service. I specifically requested my food to go, but the lady at the front repeatedly argued with me, claiming she had already asked that it was dine in. If she had listened properly, she would have heard my request. Additionally, while she was taking my order, she was also distracted by conversations with two other customers, which may have contributed to the confusion. She transferred my food into a box without accommodating my request for the sauce to be served on the side to prevent it from making the fried pork soggy. Despite my attempts to explain, she insisted otherwise, and I ended up leaving without receiving a refund or an offer to make a new meal. This experience was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. It was my first time visiting and will never come back again. I will also let my friends know...
