As one who also specializes in custom cake designs and has a discerning penchant for true European pastries and desserts, without hesitation, I admit I have become addicted to Sweet-O-One!

It is quite evident that owners -Tanya & Sergei, have poured their heart and soul into their patisserie shop. They are always so welcoming and genuinely develop relationships with their clientele. Their dessert line easily shows all their skills and passion put forth into their beautiful and delectable desserts, pastries and custom orders.

One must NOT miss the opportunity to try their baisers! They are so light, airy and heavenly with a slight kiss of sweetness that one can't help but calling them `Angel Kisses'.

They have a varied selection that is consistent and small simply because their product line are individually created so perfectly and in traditional European pastry artform that is further infused with their creative flair and presentation. The combination is absolutely divine and the resulting flavours left on the one's palate are indescribable and yet so unforgettable, easily making any true fine dessert connoisseur blissfully happy!

Their coffee and teas are elevated quality and taste without being pretentious.

Their pricing point is phenomenal for the end result product one receives.

Just the other day I asked my soon 15-year old what cake he would prefer for his birthday and he responded with "Surprise me with a cake we haven't had before." As I brainstormed through all the options at our go-to cake destination "Sweet-O-One", I realized that over years we've tried all their sumptuous offerings! In addition to raspberry meringue cake & Baisers that reviewers rave about, there are a few other "gems". Their chilled cheesecake is divine- not overly sweet but yet fluffy and decadent. That one is always a crowd-pleaser, especially with kids. I personally love their frozen lemon cake. Who would have thought that a dairy free, gluten free cake could taste that good! They also have a "secret cake", that is not published on the website but you could do a special advance order for. I think it's mango-passion fruit type of mousse cake that is sugarless, dairy-free, gluten-free, organic and tastes DIVINE! In addition to their high quality, reasonably-priced cakes and pastries, we have been loyal clients of Sweet-O-One for many years because of their superb customer service. October 2021. 4.5★ A small storefront located in a primarily industrial setting uncannily you stumble across a dessert/cake store. Honestly didn't know what to expect given the location, but reading the other reviews, I decided to swing by.

The Raspberry Hazelnut Meringue cake is one that is recommended and most talked about by other reviewers. Given it'll be my first time here, I decided to try that. The owner did state that this cake was their best seller.

The Raspberry Hazelnut Meringue cake comes out frozen. Defrost time in room temperature is about an hour. In the fridge, the owner says about 3 hours. The cake comes in 2 sizes, a 10 serving at $33 and 16 serving at $50. The appearance of the cake is honestly isn't that appealing. Cream and some raspberries on top. Leftover bits of meringue cover the sides. The Meringue is amazingly light and fluffy. The cake is not to sweet and the layers of meringue, raspberries and creme are a perfect combination.
