McDonaldâs at 670 Applewood Crescent, Vaughan, ON L4K 5X3 based on publicly available feedback
Overview
The McDonaldâs at 670 Applewood Crescent (also listed as McDonaldâs inside the Walmart at that address) operates under regular McDonaldâs hours and provides standard menu offerings including breakfast, burgers, wraps, sides, McCafĂŠ items, delivery and take-out. ďżź
I ordered the veggie burger at this McDonaldâs (670 Applewood Crescent, Vaughan) and was really disappointed. The patty tasted like it had been deep fried in old oil, it had a strong, unpleasant aftertaste that lingered. Definitely feels like the fryer oil needs to be changed more regularly. Not what Iâd expect, even from a fast food spot.
What Works Well Menu Variety & Convenience You can order via delivery platforms (Uber Eats, DoorDash) or directly in-store. ďżź The menu is broad, covering McDonaldâs staples (burgers, McNuggets, breakfast sandwiches, fries) which gives reliable choices. ďżź Accessibility & Location Being within or adjacent to a Walmart (or in that retail area) gives it good foot traffic and visibility. ďżź The location is listed as taking standard orders until around 11:00 PM. ďżź Positive Feedback on Food (Sometimes) Some delivery customers praise items as âfresh and tasty.â ďżź Others note that certain food items (e.g. fries) are among the stronger offerings. ďżź
Common Issues & Criticisms Inconsistent Service & Staff Attitude Several reviewers complain about staff being unenthusiastic or inattentive. âStaff looks at you like they donât want to serveâ ďżź âEmployees are annoying âŚâ ďżź Coffee Quality Concerns A recurring gripe is that the coffee is sometimes burnt or poorly made. âCoffee was burnt ⌠I love McDonalds coffee but this was terrible âŚâ ďżź Food Consistency (Salt / Quality Control) One user reported the fries were âtoo salty.â ďżź It seems that during busy periods or in delivery orders, the quality control might slip. Atmosphere & Cleanliness Some mention the interior can feel a bit lackluster, and upkeep is not always optimal. âFocus on cleanliness and people.â ďżź â⌠dark in colour ⌠at least the staff canât really ignore you the way they do âŚâ ďżź
Overall Impressions & Recommendation
On balance, this McDonaldâs location offers the convenience and familiarity one expects from the brand: a full menu, multiple ordering options, and standard hours. However, it appears to struggle with consistency in service, coffee quality, and staff engagement. If you visit during non-peak times, you may have a more positive experience.
Suggested visit plan: ⢠Go with modest expectations about speed and customer service. ⢠Stick to core menu items (fries, burgers) which seem less problematic than niche or beverage items. ⢠If the coffee is important to you, maybe try it cautiously or have a...
Read moreI stopped by McDonaldâs the other day for a quick bite, and it was a decent experience overall. The place was clean enough for a fast-food spot, and the staff were friendly when I orderedânothing over-the-top, but they got my order right, which was a standard Big Mac and fries. The food came out pretty fast, and it tasted like the usual McDonaldâs fare, so no complaints there. I liked that the drive-thru was moving at a steady pace, which made it convenient since I was in a bit of a rush. That said, it didnât really go beyond what Iâd expect from a McDonaldâs. The fries were warm but not as crispy as they couldâve been, and while the service was fine, it wasnât anything memorable. Itâs consistent and gets the job done when you need something quick and cheap, but thatâs about itâno real wow factor. Iâll probably be back because itâs reliable, but itâs not like it exceeded my expectations or left me eager to...

This was by far the worst McDonaldâs experience Iâve ever had. I found a femaleâs hair inside my Junior Chicken, which is absolutely unacceptable. On top of that, there were chewy chicken pieces in the burger that made it nearly impossible to eat.
The hygiene at this location is clearly not being taken seriously. Workers should be wearing gloves and proper hairnets when preparing food, yet itâs obvious they are not following basic food safety practices. This raises serious concerns about how food is being handled behind the counter.
Frankly, I wouldnât even give this place one star if I had the option. This location needs to be investigated for its hygiene standards and food handling practices. If you value your health and donât want to risk stomach pain or worse, I highly recommend avoiding this McDonaldâs...
