This is regarding STORE: 29036 @ 2810 Major Mackenzie Dr Maple ON L6A1S2.
That store has a very disrespectful overnight manager that trains their staff to operate with disrespect and when the employee did not want to be dismissive to me the manager came and did it herself. I ordered a simple poutine, it had zero gravy in it, just cheese. I let the employee know there was no gravy on it, just the cold cheese curds and the employee then came out with gravy and told me to put the gravy on myself. I let the drive thru worker know that is not correct and requested they please complete my order. She went to get a replacement but before that her manager complained of me taking a photo before giving it back as the store requested the food back but was angry I took a photo (I have that recorded, the manager going back and forth about why I needed to take a photo of the poutine). For the replacement poutine they drowned it in gravy LITERALLY (I took a photo of that as well). Once I showed them that this is not right and clearly done out of spite, said she'd be back, closed the window and I then realized her manager instructed the staff to come out the store and serve everyone in the line manually behind me (I have photos/videos of the staff literally walking to cars and serving them) and instructing the cars to go around me as I was left there for 20 mins with no assistance. It was another vehicle that ended up getting an incorrect order--the vehicle originally behind me--prior that came back and told us that the employees told them, when they were behind us, to go around our car because we "wouldn't stop complaining". Now that we are now both out of our vehicles at the service window the gentleman is knocking to get his order replaced, the drive thru is backed up with atleast 15 cars. Once the manager sees me, still parked at the 2nd window, she says "what do you want, I'm going to call the police". I had never spoken to the manager about the new poutine. I said "why would you call the police? We've never spoken about why I'm waiting here, your employee said she'd be back with resolution" she then said "well I"m calling the police because you won't move" and she pulled out her cell phone and began dialing. I just requested a refund and she said "good, go!" Luckily I have this all recorded because this story is almost unbelievable. Your manager threatens to call the police because I am waiting for her employee to return with a resolution for an order that she admits did not look upto standard and she never came back. This was completely racially motivated and obvious at that. Why would police need to be called over an incorrect poutine? The manager never acknowledged me, just told her employees to leave my vehicle there and sent them to hand deliver meals to everyone behind me and instructed them to drive around me to exit. Disgusting. Disgusting. Disgusting. I am so happy my passenger caught the entire ordeal on video and the car behind me graciously gave me his contact and agreed to state what the employee told him about going around my vehicle and what was said about us. I am sick to my stomach McDonalds hires these type of managers. Also, they refused to give me my original receipt. I noticed I was only given the receipt for the refund and waved at the employee to get my original receipt and she walked away from the window. Disgusting. Read moreI had a terrible experience here on feb 4th through the drive thru. I usually dont leave bad reviews on fast food places even if i dont have a decent experience but this was the most inconvenience i had ever encountered for just ONE ITEM. It was such a complicated process for them to just order 1 egg and chicken mcmuffin. I have ordered this item countless times at other mcds, never had an issue but i had to go through this locations drive thru 2 times just for them to get my order wrong TWICE and eventually just ended up going inside to get a full refund as a whole. The first time was just me placing the order, keep in mind, their drive thru is super slow, i waited for atleast like 10-15 mins. They got my order wrong and gave me 2 seperate mcmuffins one with chicken and the other with egg. I go back into the drive thru again, wait another 10-15 mins and POLITELY communicated that my order was wrong and i wanted a refund cause i got charged for 2 and i only wanted this one item in particular. I speak to one employee at the window and tell her the situation and then she leaves and has another employee to speak to me n i repeat the situation to her as well. This second employee at the window had the biggest attitude and tells me how she cant give me my refund and that they dont make the item there and how they would have to manually enter it in…..so like why cant u just do that??? I asserted that i have ordered this many times and never had a issue. She ends up asking me what i wanted and i tell her again, only this time, i specified that i did NOT want bacon in my mcmuffin as she asked me if i wanted it with or without the bacon. I decided to speak to their manager afterwards and got a refund for half as i still wanted my order. My order was wrong once again because they added bacon in it this time even after specifying that i did not want bacon. Such a waste of my time and energy as I had repeatedly said that i wanted an egg and chicken mcmuffin only. I went back inside as i had enough and i did not want to waste more time in their drive thru and got my full refund. I feel like I was being too nice, if i could go back in time to this incident, i really wish i was more assertive with the employees that work there. Read moreIn my opinion very nice workers but I am honestly surprised this place has not been shut down. The woman's bathroom literally had worms and other unknown possible parasites on the floor from the middle stall that's been out of service for over 5 months now, also someone unfortunately broke the broken stall door open and it was worse than a horror movie or even a true crime scene, I bolted out of there as fast as I could literally went to Walmart bought all new clothes (Eskimo) bathed in the provate bathroom and threw out the old clothes including shoes put on all new stuff till i could get to a shower and literally repeated the process threw out everything I was wearing including new shoes (even scrubbed most my body with sanitizer before and a new bottle after shower then showered a second time after cleaning the shower after the first one) never felt more disgusting in my life or seen anything that disgusting in my life and I worked in emerg in Ottawa (only as a clerk not as amazing as the nurses and drs at Queensway but loved my job.) However nothing I ever saw at the hospital compared to that!!! the place should literally be shut down and demolished clean the property well before rebuilding. Just absolutely appalled and shocked that this place is still serving food I've been there in the evenings to use wifi (from the CAR!!!!!) And the employees are cleaning and sweeping the parking lot 🤔🤔🤔 im sorry but what the actual heck is going on with this situation?? whatever it is I seriously suggest if u have been there get a parasitic test!!!! not even exaggerating 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢 don't know if I can eat mcdonald's anymore.... may have ruined my appetite for the big M for life tbh.
