While leaving the McDonalds drive thru for lunch l decided to YOLO and give this place a shot. The interior is small but cozy (around 5 tables?). Their menu consisted of daily specials such as 6$~ pasta, sandwiches, and eggplant/aubergine dishes. I was recommended the veal sandwhich, which for $12~ (including extra toppings) I thought was a bit pricey. However after getting to work and opening both my McDonalds big mac and their sandwhich... let's say the pricing is justified. The sandwich is tasty, hearty and I'll definitely visit again! Staff could have been a bit nicer (felt rushed even though I was the only one in line) which is why only the 4 star.

Honestly, I would give this place 0 stars if I could. We ordered a veal sandwich and two chicken cutlet sandwiches. The meat was horrible. It was freezer burned, over cooked and just tasted OLD. The toppings ( onion, mushrooms and peppers) were mush and tasted like they were cooked a week ago. They had hardly any tomato sauce on them. Overall just DISGUSTING. Save your money, there are much better places. They obviously do not care about their food so why bother spending your money here.

How this place has such a high rating is beyond me. This is what I got upon sitting down and opening the sandwich. $1.75 additional for cheese you get one razer thin slice. The bun wasn't fresh and hard to swallow, the breading on the veal was peeling off which indicates reheated veal, and there is no tomato sauce just a stain on this stale bread. First and last time. Several great places to get a veal sandwich in a two kilometer radius.

Ordered 7 sandwiches and 2 eggplants for pick up. We didn't want the sandwich buns to get soggy, so we asked to have everything separated. They placed the sliced cheese together in a warm container, causing the cheese to melt into a large melted blob of cheese. We didn't realize until we got home, so I called the store and let them know. The attitude I received was extremely unprofessional. One lady told me that it was our fault for picking up the order late. The time wouldn't have made a difference if the container was warm.... And we were actually 5 minutes early for pick up after accommodating their pick up time. We asked to pick up at 1pm, they said no, 1:30pm. They also added an extra two buns to our order, when we asked to have them removed, the lady told us that they added the charge to our total order cost and that we could just freeze the bread. Please work on staff training. 0/5...

I am a longtime client! I have been going to Via Panni for about 20 years from when it first opened! However lately the food quality and seems has been going down hill! Last week I went to pick up a veal sandwich, I walked in and the place was dark and everything seemed not to be as clean as it once was. After about two minutes the cashier (non Italian) yells from the back WHAT DO YOU WANT I was at first taken back as it seemed I was bothering them. I asked for a veal and while waiting noticed the frozen lasagna freezer was empty racks full of ice the olive fridge was empty with only one or two what seem to be outdated and shriveled, hot olives, and such needless to say, the veal was tasteless not the melt in your mouth meat. They once used to serve the sauce was nothing close to what it used to be.

Sad fall from the quality...

A Skip The Dishes courier dropped this off at my house instead of the intended customer (sorry! I'm glad they got their refund!) so I gave this shop a call to let them know and they already had it sorted. The person on the phone was so friendly! I figured that I may as well not let the food go to waste because no one would take it back (for good reason), so I've been munching on the food all evening. I believe I received a fried chicken sandwich and a grilled veal sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious despite being hours old and very cold. I'm so glad this is my meal tonight.

This has been a very happy accident for me, I will be ordering in the future! Just not from Skip The Dishes, lest it get dropped off at another...
