Nature’s Emporium is my favourite health food store in York Region. It’s large, clean, very bright store allows you to move through it easily and effortlessly. The greatest features of this store are the smoothly bar, hot table, fresh deli meat and supplements section where you receive specialized attention from their friendly staff. Everything is done with love for the purpose of optimum health and well-being. It is prominent in everything they do. They also offer workshops and information sessions on-site on a variety of health and nutritional topics for free or for a nominal fee. You can tell everyone who works there is passionate about healthy living for they are extremely knowledgeable. Food options for all diets and food sensitivities are available and in great abundance. They have also recently added compostable bags as grocery and veggie bags. Love this! Yes, you pay more, but prefer this to plastic. Much better for the environment. Added this location to Yelp. Arrived first thing in the morning and was greeted immediately from one of the stock folks. He took the time to attempt to locate a few supplements through the cavernous store. After searching through the aisles, a customer service individual approached and took the time to locate the items in no time flat. I was pleasantly surprised by the time and effort they took to assist me.

There are counter food items, many sales items, and various natural remedies to choose from. This location is in a great area and am sure it will continue to do well. Unfortunately, however, I had to remove one star for the lack of friendly service when checking out. Specifically, the cashier was speaking to the coworker for a while and when I showed I had a feeling I was interrupting. I only note this because of the recency effect that you havevsuch a pleasant experience and you instantly get a downward impression by not being greeted or being told thank you or goodbye.
