Khaos Coffee — Restaurant in Vernon

Not sure what is going on with one of the other reviews of "satanic" imagery...it couldn't be further from the vibe this place has.

We're from out of town, heading back home, needed a morning coffee. Read the crazy review about satanic imagery and had to check this place out.

If "hippy", "modern age", "eclectic", "bright", and "fun" is what you think of when you think satanic, then this is your place.

It's literally a bright ice cream, chocolate, and coffee shop.

Makes me wonder if l that review was done by a friend of a competing business or something.

To be honest, was a little disappointed it wasn't more dark and satanic like that reviewer...

The coffee was great and the bartender was friendly. It's also one of the only coffee shops in Vernon open after 5 pm which is really nice. Unfortunately, it made my friends and I uncomfortable to see occultic decor around the shop. There were satanic pictures on the walls, magic literature available to read, and there were tarot cards for sale behind the front counter. It seems like a business should promote their product alone without presenting dark spiritual themes like that. It might not make some uncomfortable, but it might be helpful for customers to be aware of this atmosphere before...

It's an interesting coffee shop with a Decent machine, two grinders and some refreshing ice tea. Place is small with two seating and a friendly owner/barista there. Coffee were decent but was annoyed by a weird stench at the place that made it somewhere unwelcoming. I really want to like it since owner is obvious trying very hard to make great coffee and thank you for serving good coffee in Vernon!

I had an ice american, it was okay with initial mouthfeel but delicious after taste. Smooth with a hint of caramel. I was surprised to find this dedication to coffee in Vernon! Keep up...
