Edit: I finally returned 18 months later.
The place has greatly expanded with new products and an awesome Pacman machine. The Pacman game alone is a draw.
The coffee toffee ice cream cost $11. That may price people out, but it is high quality and supporting local. It tasted really good.

Original: Kin Pod Chocolate was my 147th eatery in Vernon on my quest to eat at every eatery in Vernon.
The selection was quite limited as they are in between seasons. The employee said I just happened to time my visit in between seasons.
There was a bag of chocolate lollipop things or a chocolate bar as the only food options.
I paid just under $6 for the ethically produced chocolate bar.
The chocolate bar was small, but was produced in such a way that it made me feel great about myself and it tasted pretty good.
I'll try to come around Christmas time and perhaps give this place a re-review.

Nice local business that takes pride in their crafts and where it is function-over-form all day long.
Tucked neatly in a quiet industrial area, it upholds the very definition of a hole-in-the-wall gem. When you find it you kinda want to tell everybody but also not, because you want it to be your little secret, as these kinds of business are rare these days.

Stumbling distance from a few hotels in the area but you should be still be able to drive responsibly after visiting.
If you have any amount of self respect (or have even the slightest appreciation for good quality treats) do yourself a favour and make the time.

Perhaps you should indicate on the case that itâs sold out. My boyfriend asked a simple question âwhatâs your best seller?â. Staff responded âwe donât have one.â. When I heard that I was quite surprised and was not impressed yet again. Finally my boyfriend ordered a random flavour ice cream and we both tried it and it was not good as what the...
