White Spot Vernon — Restaurant in Vernon

White Spot was my 119th restaurant in Vernon on my quest to eat at every restaurant in town.

I was here for Appy Hour where certain items are between $7 and $10.

However, I saw a caramel milkshake and an avocado Impossible Burger on the menu.

White Spot is one of the few places left in Vernon that does unlimited French Fry refills with a meal.

The server Alyssa was an excellent server. She would inform me if certain item substitutions were an extra charge, she brought me vinegar without asking, and informed another table that soda refills are $1 per refill.

After my lack of upfront info at Kelly O's, this was a pleasant surprise.

I really enjoyed my meal.

The small critique I have is that head office needs to replace the toilet stall. I had to flush four times before it would work. I can't fault the store for that as it is a head office expense.

The restaurant was clean, friendly, and quiet.

It had been about 15 years since I stepped into a White Spot. I was pleasantly surprised given I never enjoyed White Spot previously as a kid, and I ordered delivery once in 2020 and was super disappointed with my burger.

Overall, my experience exceeded my expectations. C-Lovers, Joey's Seafood and White Spot are the best chains to compete with the local independent restaurants in Vernon.

I recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a Western style meal.

What has happens to White Spot? We have been going to white spot on a regular basis for years. Never had a bad experience until today. Service was extremely slow and they were not very busy. We waited for over an hour for a Nats Breakfast and a Thai chicken salad. I’ve had this salad before and loved it, however this salad came out looking limp and smothered in the dressing. Missing 3 ingredients. Upon letting the waitress know, she said they would make up another. It would only be 10 minutes. Ok.. salad arrives and waitress takes the other away. The new salad has no chicken! I go to talk to someone and catch a gal coming out of kitchen. Explain to her that my salad now has zero chicken. Her response with a very annoyed look.. “my understanding is it was missing 3 ingredients. Well there is no chicken.. she repeats her answer with a very angry look and no apology. I say” oh was I supposed to keep the chicken from the other salad?! She turns and walks away saying she will talk to another person. No apology .. seriously! I asked our waitress if the other salad had already been discarded as it had the chicken in it and this one doesn’t. Yup , gone. Had them remove the salad from table and bill. Then when my husband was done his food.. I went to chopped leaf and had a wonderfully fresh salad with all the ingredients! White spot has lost a couple of regular customers that used to take all out of town friends there as well! The table before us complained as well that they waited well over an hour in a not crowded...

We tried the new Triple O’s Location in Vernon tonight. The drive thru was packed. We didn’t realize at the time they had only been open for 5days. If we had done our research and known they just opened, we would have just gone in.

THEY WERE SWAMPED with customers! When we finally got next in line to pay at the window, the person in the car in front of us was laying into the manager about the price and the wait. We felt so bad for him. It was clear they were all doing there best.

We received our food and when we got home we realized there were a few incorrect items. My hubby received the wrong burger and both of ours were cold.

I went back and explained everything to their manager. He was so kind. He gave us a credit for my hubbies meal, as he had eaten it despite it being cold and wrong. For mine they remade it. The remake was fast!

When I got home and finally got to eat it, it was WELL worth the wait and mix ups. The burger Pattie’s we flavourful and moist. The bacon was fresh and cooked to perfection. Everything was perfection and with Caesar salad and a lettuce wrapped burger this is a Low Carb eaters Dream!

Despite being overwhelmed by curious new customers and staffed by teens, aside from the manager and cooks, the service and product was amazing. GOOD JOB TRIPLE O’S ! We...
