Came to Victoria to move my daughter from Prince George and decided to stay at the Days Inn on the harbor. Attached was this quaint but popping patio that reminded me of being on a tropical vacation. Have had two amazing servers so far with 2 days left to go.. Jen was our dinner server the night we checked in and the next morning for breakfast we were greeted by the lovely Cierra.... For dinner we had the calamari to start which was so crisp with its light tempura style batter.. so good, followed by the 2 Piece Halibut and Chips and the Hawaiian Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl... both super delicious accompanied by a Mojito and a Full Monte Moscow mule . For breakfast the next day we had the Deluxe Breakfast which was once again superb. This patio truly is a winner in all aspects. Day 2- Cierra outdid herself. Best service in Victoria, super knowledgeable about the menu, great recommendations, extremely friendly and outgoing. I had the Spicy Tuna Tataki, Popcorn shrimp... and for dinner the Get Shorty Dip (beef dip)... was the most amazing trip... I most definitely recommend the great Bellville's Patio in the harbor connected to the Days Inn .

Service good, they want to do the job. Food is absolute garbage, we ate there 3 times in a row to give it the gambit and try their fair share- not fair, subpar. The spaghetti was not as good as a can of sauce and stuff you make at home. Good garlic bread, so they didn’t hump that up. Surprise the tofu toco was spiced with sriracha- you know classic Mexican sauce, that is after asking if it was spicy, we sent it back, service was pretty good considering the slop they have to serve. Tried the schnitzel, they should take it off the menus I am guessing no one orders it, it was flavourless breaded. The mushroom sauce had potential had they treated it like liver and onions and fried some bacon in it ore something, it just fell flat and twisted like it been sitting for hours. Served with broccoli that was streamed and set on the plate, again served after being long cooked. No salt, or butter. Breakfast was about the same, over deep fried hash browns, dry and cool, not seasoned. I asked for eggs over easy all the eggs came scrambled on all 3 orders and only 1 had ordered that style. I don’t see them changing any time soon.

My wife and I stopped into Belleville’s while visiting Victoria. We just wanted to grab a quick Lunch and a drink. What a great spot to sit and enjoy the day. Situated right on Belleville St right along the Harbour it is a great spot for lunch and dinner as well. We did try to come back for dinner, but unfortunately it was a bit busy that night and we would have had to wait a while. We did not make reservations so we thought we would chance it and I’m not even sure if they take reservations. But it is a great location in Victoria. We would definitely go back. For lunch, I ordered the poutine and as someone who has visited Montreal on several occasions and have enjoyed the poutine there on a regular basis every time I go, Belleville’s In Victoria BC, surprisingly enough, served me perhaps the best poutine I have ever had. It was a very traditional poutine, but it was fantastic. Based on the street signs around Victoria I actually thought I was in Montreal. I would highly recommend this location if you were ever visiting Victoria British Columbia. Paul and Andrea Calgary, Canada

Dined here on June 12, 2024 as it was close to the Oswego Hotel I was staying at. I ordered their burger with the house salad on the side. Salad was served without dressing, which I thought was simply how it was. By the time my server came, I had eaten half of the dry salad and asked if it was supposed to be like that. Server said it should have come with a dressing. I hinted that I had eaten half of the salad already dry to no fault of my own, and the response I received from the server was "well, at least you have half of the salad bowl to eat as it should be." Total let down. The least they could have done was offer me another salad bowl, which wasn't that big to begin with. But I guess saving money on some veggies is more important to them than customer coming back. I phoned the restaurant and spoke with the manager on duty, Rebecca. Again, instead of offering something by way of apologizing, all she did was take my info and said she would speak to her director about this. As a fellow manager myself, if I were in this situation, I would have done things differently. But I guess, in the end, the cost of a mere small salad was more valuable than the customers themselves. Would not recommend. Rebecca - you have my info. I want you to know that I will not accept whatever you may end up offering (other than the mere apology) to me should your restaurant come to its senses. I think we have passed that point already. The least you and your staff could do, I am hoping, is more training on how to read the room/situation, and quite possibly some bias/racial...

We met out of town friends dinner before they headed off on holidays. The food was very tasty, our server was attentive, friendly, polite and prompt in serving our drinks and taking our orders. She doubled checked with my husband, who has allergies, and made sure to write them down on her order slip. She even came back to check again. He ordered a burger, lettuce wrapped and requested no tomato as per his allergies. When our meals arrived his burger was wrapped in lettuce. One of our friends noticed right away there was a tomato on his burger. Thank goodness, he had not taken a bite which would have resulted in an allergic reaction. Right away she offered to get him a fresh burger. However, he declined because if the chef didn't fully read the order slip right the first time he was concerned. As this has happened in other restaurants, he chose not to have a meal. He never feels safe in this situation when the order isn't right. He then sat there while the rest of us ate. The server was very apologetic about his food not being right but did ask if she could bring him anything else, again he said no. One of our party also overheard a conversation that the server was berated by the chef for the error, which we felt was wrong as she was overseeing the health of her customers. All of our party saw the server write on the order slip and heard her ask about his allergies. This is another restaurant in Victoria that we have to cross off our list of places to go since the chef made this error which can be detrimental to my...

My partner and I visited Bellevilles this evening for food and drinks after not visiting for a few years. It's hard to ignore how run down the place has become, it's clear they are over due for an update. The outdoor tables just look dirty and falling apart, the paint inside is chipping and the upholstery is in bad shape. This is ok for a dive bar but not a Restaraunt located in the inner harbour tourist district of Victoria.

The hostess was quite rude and unfriendly, fairly haggard and it was very apparent she had a late night last night. ( and maybe the night before too )

We ordered the Mac and Cheese bite appetizer, a Taco salad and the BLT chicken burger. The food was quite tasty overall however, it was odd that the cook put steaming hot chicken on the salad instead of letting the meat cool. So, the salad was instantly soggy. The chicken burger was very good with amazing smoked bacon and the best fries I've had in a long time. Mac and cheese bites were tasty.

The banana shaft was the worst shaft either of us have ever had, the coffee was stale and bitter, the banana flavor was just off and the drink wasn't as creamy as it should be. It was hard to get down.

The cost of food here is outrageous now and completely out of wack! How is a small plate of Mac and cheese bites worth $18? A simple clubhouse sandwich or chicken burger is $28. For what we paid, we could have gone to a fine dining restaurant.

Our server Haley was friendly and efficient and never kept us waiting so we...
