The food experience was unique, hearty, and tasty. Imperial Sunrise It complimented the Adventure Plate really well. Subtly sweet with a nice, subtle turmeric flavor. Velvet Mocha It was more chocolate-y than I thought. I was a bit apprehensive about the beetroot powder and sea salt but the powder was looked like it was more for presentation, and I couldn't taste the sea salt (I don't like sea salt chocolate). I really enjoyed this as well. Adventure Plate Damn. . . The presentation for this dish was great. The seedy toast, cashew cream, and mushroom walnut pate was amazing. I can also eat the seedy toast by itself as a snack. The fermented veggie was also nice, especially the carrots. Some of the veggies like the mushrooms had too much vinegar in my opinion but that was the only downside. The service was also nice. Sleeping Beauty Pancake Just the right amount of sweetness, great compote, and unique pancake that had a banana bread texture more than a typical pancake texture. It was great. Sausage This was great. It was quite hot on the inside and very juicy with a hint of curry(?) flavor.

⚠️Warning: If you have alergies, this place may not take them seriously!⚠️ This place is quite charming, in that it is in an old Victorian home, but it did not live up to our expectations in terms of food and service. My wife disclosed to the server that she has an alergy to green peppers and red onions, and asked if the soup of the day had any of those ingredients and his response was to shrug his shoulders and say "Maybe." Later the kitchen determined that it could have red onions, so another soup was substituted. We each ordered the oatmeal pancake. The options included bacon or sausage. My wife ordered the sausage option, and after taking a bite, discovered it started to bother her throat. We asked for the ingredient list, and low and behold it contained jalepeno peppers which would fall under the green pepper category. The oatmeal pancakes themselves were overcooked and dry and quite crispy on the edges. They didn't look like the photos that other reviewers had shared. We ordered the sweet and salty lattes, and asked how much honey was in each serving and the server told us "two teaspoons". When sipping on the lattes, the honey was undetectable, certainly not two teaspoons and we didn't get the salt until we got to the dregs in the cup. Overall I give this establishment a thumbs down and wouldn't visit again. The servers attitude and lack of attention was inexcusable, especially considering that the cheque showed his name with his title as Assistant Manager.

We just arrived from the ferry terminal. tired and hungry so we opted to go here since Jam Cafe has a line up and this place showing good google reviews. So we’ve been welcomed, and a lady escorted us to our table— we waited for atleast 15mins before someone asked if we’re ready to order. Imagine that waiting time for someone who’s starving from a long trip but in fact, there’s two servers just walking pass by our table even asked the other table if they’re ready to order but they came second after us!!!! So to make it short, the service here are so BAD not to mention the lady who escorted us to our table served my matcha drink with FULL attitude like “here you go” and just put it so aggresive on our table. Like??? what did i do wrong to you miss mam??? and the food— $60 for just veggies and small breads which are not even tasty. My husband was too nice he even gave them tip (to the kitchen people, not to the rude servers!!!) to make it $70

We were on a short trip to Victoria and Nourish was on our list of places to try. We visited on a Sunday and came about 10 minutes before opening and there was already a line at the door, about 5 parties a head of us. We waited about 10 minutes after opening to be seated (probably so not to overwhelm the kitchen). My friend and I both ordered the Half and Half with me also ordering the smoked bacon and Golden Goose broth. We both loved the oatmeal pancake and the house whipped cream and caramelized fruit topping really brought it to another level. My poached egg was more on the medium side, where else my friend's was more runny. The tumeric hollandaise was creamy and should be bottled up. My brunch came to almost $45 with tips (service was super nice, friendly and fast). A little more than I would pay for brunch but as an out of towner the splurge was justifiable.

Gem of gems in Victoria and probably in BC as a whole. Exquisite presentation all around, both in the beautiful plating of the kitchen selections and the layout of the place. The cafe drinks in particular were stunning, visually speaking. What truly makes this place stand out is the homemade quality of what seems to be the most fresh ingredients… both plates we had were delicately crafted: ample sweetness, tasteful seasonings, beautiful pairing of ingredients, humble portions, and a soaring sense of “freshness.” While prices are justifiably premium, it is more than fair considering the relentless quality of every offering on the menu and sincerity of the staff. All around, an incredibly memorable and enjoyable dining experience. Quite the standout in what might be one of the best spots on the island!

This was our favourite spot on our weekend trip to Victoria! Nourish has achieved a good balance between being cute and trendy without being pretentious! I ordered the half-and-half sleeping beauty pancakes and golden breakfast, which were both AMAZING, especially the pancake. And my husband ordered the new normal, a take on a build your own breakfast, which he loved as well. The golden wedges were not what we expected, but with the aioli that comes with, we loved them! We also loved the sourdough toast and strawberry jam so much that we ordered a second helping after we had finished our first breakfast!! Will definitely be back on our next trip to Victoria!
