We had a really poor shopping experience here. The store itself is very nice aesthetically and we were excited to check out the new location. We made an online order for $552.16 for in-store pick-up. When we arrived and the items were brought to the front of the store, the "team member" indicated on their hand-held device that the order was completed; however, they did not review and verify that all of the correct items were there. We went through the clothing ourselves, which was fine, albeit slightly annoying. We then asked for a bag for the items (typically, for online orders, the items are brought out in a bag already). The employee said that a bag would cost $2! We were a little stunned at this given how much money we had spent; we had made and paid for the online order and were not looking to complete another transaction in store. We were told that this was due to a provincial bylaw; however, my thinking is that, for the amount of money we spent, Lululemon could absorb the cost of the bag in the name of a frictionless shopping experience. We left the store with a pile of expensive clothes in our hands (see attached images), feeling like we had just left a Value Village or a garage sale. All in all, a pretty rotten feeling and not the type of customer service or shopping experience we are accustomed to or would expect from a brand...
Read moreAs an avid Lululemon shopper, I was thrilled to visit the new store on Wharf Street in Victoria, BC, and it did not disappoint. This storefront is absolutely incredible—an outstanding addition to an already impressive brand.
The location is perfect, right in the heart of Victoria with easy access and beautiful surroundings. The store itself is spacious, well-organized, and has a sleek, modern design that perfectly complements the Lululemon aesthetic. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel welcome and inspired to shop.
What truly stood out to me was the overall shopping experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help without being overbearing. They made sure I found exactly what I was looking for and provided excellent recommendations tailored to my needs.
The product selection at this location is top-notch, with all the latest collections and a wide variety of options to choose from. Whether you’re looking for activewear, casual pieces, or something in between, this store has it all.
Overall, the new Lululemon store on Wharf Street is outstanding in every way. The combination of a prime location, a beautifully designed space, and exceptional customer service makes it a must-visit for any Lululemon fan or anyone looking for high-quality athletic wear. I highly recommend stopping by—you won’t be...
Read moreThe manufacturing quality of lululemon's clothing has fallen significantly. This is reflected in their 'quality promise', where they state "If your item isn't performing as intended, we will work with you to make it right" however this only applies to items within a year of purchase and does not reflect my experience.
When I noticed that the stitching in the groin area of two pairs of pants was coming apart, I brought both pairs back to this store to inquire about their condition. One pair had been purchased within 12 months and was exchanged with no trouble. With the other pair, which was 18 months old and showing exactly the same malfunction, I was told that they could offer me an in-store discount of 10% off of up to 5 separate items, or I could take it to their repair person at my own cost.
I have been purchasing this style of pants from lululemon for almost two decades and the quality of the product in the past has been fantastic with those pants having lasted me for many years before this level of failure. It seems their recent change in the quality promise directly reflects their decline in quality clothing. Another brand choosing the profit of fast fashion over a well-made, long-lasting product.
My brand loyalty to this company is as threadbare as their quality promise. I will be purchasing elsewhere for my activewear...
