Thai Food Near Me — Restaurant in Victoria

I don't usually do this, but I have to share feedback. I went tonight for dinner with myself and here's what I experienced:

I was greeted by a little boy and told to sit anywhere. I did. There was one waitress. She was very sweet to me and polite.

The issues I had were that there was only one waitress, and they were running takeout orders. That caused everyone in the restaurant to be neglected. I waited 8 minutes to order, and I asked for tea. Tea didn't come. I had to ask after 15 minutes. So we're 23 mins in and no food yet.

After about 40 mins I finally asked when the food would come out, she said 5 mins. Food came after about 50 mins from the time I sat down to the time I got it. There was no chili oil or hoisin on the table and I had to find it myself.

Note: Other people had been waiting in the lobby for almost an hour for their takeout order.

The salad rolls were water logged and falling apart. The pho broth was great, but the rare beef wasn't rare at all....it was rubber. I am a pho lover and it was disappointing to be waiting all that time to find that the meal wasn't the greatest.

Sorry Pho Wisdom, but you dropped the ball. I think more staff should be added or maybe can the takeout orders if you can't handle the volume.

Tonight has been one of the most disappointing exprience I have ever had. We came here because of our relative recommended the food here , nope, should went to any other restaurant and could be better night. Ordered special with vermicelli noodle and hot sauce on the side, and also green PayPal’s salad . Got order wrong and both waiters have no knowledge of their menu, no chopsticks or hot sauce, wrong noodle, I waited and waited , my fiancé already finished his food then my noodle came, salad never came until we were about to leave. So we asked to pack the salad to go, bill came then they double charged us on salad . It’s a gift that keeps on taking, bad packaging and the salad dressing dropped all over my shoes. We talked to elderly gentleman there who’s very nice, told us don’t bother because one waiter is new and another is owner’s son(so he doesn’t care????!) . Will never return and won’t recommend to anyone. Food is mediocre at best and service is traumatizing. Sorry ...

Owner was serving us a few years back and wouldn’t stop talking over my mom who was really quiet and going through a lot of trauma and grief. I literally told him to stop, that I would help her order and he ignored me. He kept trying to talk to my mom who wasn’t wanting to talk at all to pretty much anyone. She ended up leaving upset, to which I apologized (only out of politeness), tried to explain, and paid the bill. He told me he has tons of restaurant experience and is great at making people happy, then basically denied that he played any part in her leaving and would do the same thing again if he had the chance. As someone who’s also worked in restaurants for years and made social mistakes I understand not everyone is going to deal perfectly with difficult, disabled or different types of groups of customers but at least give an apology. 😑 (Even if it’s fake.)
