Phenomenal Sorghum sourdough bread, the quintessential bread treat for those who are sensitive to most grains and gluten free alternatives… low glycemic, high in manganese and resistant fibre and incredible for the gut microbiome, it’s superb to have Caitlin’s incredible offerings here on Vancouver Island. No tummy issues! Highly recommend the cranberry walnut loaves - we cut up and freeze them and then reheat/toast them and have them with morning coconut lattes and a spoonful of pistachio butter - bliss and no real glucose spike. My only gentle suggestion (after being a loyal customer for over 3 years) is to revamp the olive bread recipe to have many more olives per loaf… I understand it’s a baking issue, but my last loaf only had 4 olives (I counted!)… up until recently, it was my favourite but please give it another try as I believe they will somehow find a way to make the olive bread more olive-heavy… Thank...

My first time ordering from this restaurant. Food quality is top notch, fresh local ingredients. They are very accommodating, especially when it comes to dietary restrictions. I ordered my meal on Uber eats. Specified in the order that I'm vegetarian, with a request of no meat in the order. Hard to believe the bread is Gluten Free, because of how amazing it is! 🍞 I highly recommend the Reuben sandwich for lunch with their famous sourdough sandwich loaf, house fermented sauerkraut, smoked beef, Italian cheese, house made aioli & dijon - this sandwich is unreal, the house fermented sauerkraut was the perfect tang to compliment the smoked beef. 🤤 The owner was so sweet, kind, & interactive with my 2 year old son - he had fun gently pressing the bell on the counter 🥰🛎️ I love supporting local businesses & this place is the spot to check out if you are GF sensitive...
