Reasonable prices for full course meal ($14.99). Very busy. Food was very good, serving size large, and price included salad, entree and dessert. Staff professional and attentive (some guests quite demanding - I appreciated the staff's professionalism!). Very busy so I recommend making reservations in advance, even for solo travellers and diners. Conveniently located one block from the Inner Harbour and four blocks from the Bay Centre Shopping Centre, the Old Spaghetti Factory Victoria is a good dining experience. It is super busy during high season; be prepared, it can be hard to get a table. Ambience is comfortable (but busy during high season), no loud music, and oriented to a whole family experience. The menu is generic American-Italian but done well with substantial serving sizes. Give the Old Spaghetti Factory a try for a three-course meal at an amazing price in downtown #VictoriaBC.

I like how every entrée is automatically a combo. The onion soup was very good, it's $2 extra but worth it. I got the lunch size lasagna. It was good, but not impressively good. My friend got salad and chiken sandwich. She said both were average. Since it's a famous restaurant, we were expecting better. The service was definitely not what I'd expect from this kind of restaurant. The utensils were cheap material and were super dirty. When I asked the server to replace it, she only replaced the spoon, not the fork, claiming that only the spoon was dirty - but they were touching each other! She replaced both after I insisted, but it shouldn't be that hard. The restaurant was busy but not overwhelmingly busy, but all the servers were walking around arressively, like it's an ER. No one even stop by to check if our food was okay. Honestly, I didn't even want to tip.

Once in a while you meet someone who truly, deeply, understands their job and wishes to excel in it. That is what happened to me as I met Aggy as the server at The Old Spaghetti Factory. We were a party of 5 (4 adults and 1 toddler), and had a tight constraint of 40 mins to finish the lunch, so that we could make the Parliament tour. I expressed this to Aggy at the outset. She understood the task, got our food to us extremely quickly, brought takeout boxes proactively, let us pay upfront so we could dash out quickly, and even offered to take a family picture - all within 10 minutes. This enabled us to finish lunch quickly and make our tour. Also, they gave my toddler crayons and a coloring sheet, which kept him occupied for a while. The food was good too, but this was easily the best service I have ever received at a restaurant. 10/10 would recommend.

The moment you finish your satisfying meal, the arrival of complimentary ice cream feels like a sweet, unexpected bonus. The generous servings of creamy, indulgent ice cream provide the perfect ending to your dining experience, leaving a lasting impression on your taste buds. It's a thoughtful touch that adds to the overall warmth and hospitality of the restaurant. Pairing the ice cream with a cup of freshly brewed coffee enhances the dessert experience. The aromatic coffee complements the sweetness of the ice cream, creating a harmonious blend of flavors. Whether you prefer it black or with a touch of cream, the quality of the coffee is consistently excellent, making it a great companion to the rich, creamy dessert.

Had heard about this location from a friend who recommended it and I have to say we we're disappointed. They started off pretty well with a complimentary bread and garlic butter, both were pretty good. The drinks were good and priced well. The white sauce could have been a tad bit thicker, I would have liked that but overall the food was good. I didn't like the Bam Bam shrimp as personally they were tooooooooooo sweet for me. I ordered it thinking they would be spicy as the menu claims but they weren't, but my wife liked them so it's a hit or miss, depending upon your taste. Would recommend Garlic Cheese Toast. Minestrone soup was better than what I expected. Overall a good food experience, would recommend it.

Love coming here! The service is always top-notch: the hostesses and servers are always attentive and friendly, the atmosphere always warm and welcoming, and the food is consistently delicious with great portions - all at an excellent price! Can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience/meal here or through takeout! They’re also great for accommodating large groups such as birthdays (pre-covid restrictions), and are family friendly. There’s a reason they can be QUITE busy (make a reservation on popular occasions)! Highly recommend the Penne w/chicken, or the Pesto Linguine w/prawns. A drink on their patio during Summer surrounded by their beautiful flower baskets is also a must!
