If I could give a zero star review I would. I came in the other night and the red headed older woman who claimed to be the manager was the worst. Not only did she not make my friends drinks properly (minor no big put cinnamon on a shot that was specifically asked for none, I was polite about it asking for a napkin to take it off) she brought me NOT the drink I requested but insisted it was and again I was kind and patient and said agree to disagree I will take the drink but what is in it? She then got mad and listed off some vodka and walked away. I still didn't allow it to ruin the night because we were having a great time at karaoke. However us jokingly laughing that it suddenly got dark (she had turned the lights off) set her off to run up to me and ask if I had a problem with the way she runs her bar then walk away. When I referenced her hey hun can you come here I don't understand what just happened. She rudley from down the bar yelled don't call me Hun. All because she couldn't make a drink or let me know what's in my cup. I don't care if you work there if you bring me a drink I didnt order or recognize am I not allowed to ask what's in my cup I'm paying for? Thank goodness for jasmine (10 stars) the other waitress she was kind and patient and understood the issue even while the red head walked up again as I was explaining what happened and told me I was being aggressive. I wasn't even speaking at her I was having a conversation with the other waitress and my company. She either needs more bartending training or to be fired and jasmine promoted because jasmine handled the situation like a pro while this woman who wouldn't give her name but claimed to be the manager stormed around like a mad...
Read moreI came here a couple weeks ago with a group during their soft opening and I'm torn. Service was very good. The server was attentive and helpful, the manager was welcoming and considerate, and the kitchen worked to accommodate food restrictions in our group. They also invited us to order off of either the Cosmos' Greek menu or Passports menu (the two restaurants share an entrance and seem to also share a kitchen), but we all stuck with Passport's offerings. So 5 out of 5 stars there.
However, the best decription I can come up with for the food is food "only okay" and borderline disappointing. Mostly due to lacking flavour and any uniqueness. With a name like Passport, I expected more styles of food from around the world, but it's your generic bar food options. It falls short if you were to compare it to something like Craft or Local. I'll acknowledge that I visited just as they were getting started and probably have some kinks to work out. I really hope that they do because this is a good location with...
Read moreMusic nights are Way too loud and there's no baffling for sound in a smaller place. Sounds are bouncing off the bare ceiling, floors and wall including crowd noise that sounded like a roar. I've never heard such bad sound in any venue. I'm an event coordinator and musician so I've seen plenty of rooms. I felt sorry for the Thursday night band. They were so great but they couldn't compete with the poor sound dynamic. Service there was pleasant altho they were understaffed severely while the owner looked on. I felt like pitching in. Felt sorry for the 2 servers and 1 bartender having to cover a Full Room of tables. Took us 1 1/2 hours to get our food and there was no time for a second visit for food orders. I've ran an event planning and catering business for 32 years. Not impressed with this place...
