DO NOT RECOMMEND, barista/potential owner was racist. We went into the cafe to buy drinks and decided to use the washroom as we were heading out. As I was waiting for my drink, the barista (i think his name was Yezza) asked me whether my friend knew how to use a washroom and went on to assume that we were Indian based on our skin colour. According to him, Indians don’t know how to use a washroom. He was extremely hostile and unprofessional, as well as blatantly racist. It is a pleasure to write a review for this wonderful coffee shop. This is by far my favorite place in Westmount to have a cup of coffee or hot chocolate on a cold winter day. In addition to scrumptious hot chocolate and coffee, they have a large variety of chocolates which make a perfect gift. Reza, the owner, has an amazing knowledge of world cultures and music. Bad customer service. I was told that I couldn't choose the chocolates in the box because there were too many clients. There were no client in the store the whole time I was there. He told me some clients would take 2 hours to choose (?) despite me telling him I already knew what I wanted. What a weird experience. I just feel that he wanted me gone for...
