Amsterdam Cafe Pub — Restaurant in Whistler Resort Municipality

Got waited on a little blonde named Amy. We ordered our alcohol drinks and got them pretty fast. Then ordering food was a nightmare. We ordered a Dutchman burger and a chicken burger extra pickles no onions with poutine Instead of fries. She walked away then asked what we wanted again. Before taking the slip to the cook I told her one more time chicken burger extra pickles no onions with poutine Instead of fries. No one else was In the pub and the music wasn't loud. We got our food and she handed me a cheeseburger. I said I ordered a chicken burger and she kinda argued with me saying she swears we ordered a cheeseburger. I don't eat beef so I know for a fact I didn't order a cheeseburger. I steal the side poutine off the plate cause I know It would of just sat In the back while my chicken burger was made. Finally she brings It out. The food was "ok" Kind of bland food tho could of used some mayo or something. We got our bill she did give me 25% off of my chicken burger without me saying anything. Come to find out my F* that's fresh drink was $10.43!!!! Sheesh! I had a horrible time at this place. She just sat there talking to her worker friends. She needs training or get out of waitressing all together! I wouldn't recommend this place to a person I hated!...

I was really excited to try their food. But I had to leave, canceling my order due to the rude behaviour of the brunette waitress. I gave her three opportunities to correct her behaviour but she was extremely rude and short with me. We were a party of 6 and I asked her a question about one of the food items, she didn’t want to help me out by answering my question. She told me she would take drink orders first. It was super hot today and we asked if could change the table. She refused. I asked her something about another item from the menu, she was short and said “whatever it is, it’s in the menu.” I asked her if the burger comes with any types of condiments and she said ketchup is on the table. I told her I see that and at this point, I lost it and cancelled all my 6 orders as I had to leave immediately due to this attitude. This waitress does not deserve to serve customers if she can’t even answer basic questions and can’t be nice to people. I hate to write this, but I had a horrible experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Specially if you get the same...

Don’t waste your money. The location is good but so are the restaurants close by. I am not normally someone who complains but being in the service industry for over 20 years, I just can’t let it slide. My husband and I ordered two drinks, nachos and a chicken sandwich. My drink was fine, a blueberry tea. My husbands was not so great. Barely any alcohol. Our nachos came out warm on the bottom but cold on top. Even the meat was cold. We talked politely with the server to explain and she offered to have them remade which we said “sure”. After she walked away she decided to come back and tell me… “ya, I felt the nachos and they were warm so not sure what that is about, BUT we will go ahead and remake them. When did costumer service become so shocking. We have been sitting at the table for 40 mins and haven’t even been offered another drink or asked about the other meal. Just made to feel like I was wrong about my cold nachos with serious attitude. Customer service here is not worth a dime. Go...
