A&W Canada — Restaurant in Winnipeg

I used the drive through before work. After ordering, they said it would be a 4 minute wait. That 4 minutes turned into 10, then 15… and at that point my partner went in to the establishment to see our order sitting on the counter, unpackaged. After 5 minutes of waiting, the worker was speaking to a delivery driver and he cut in to say we’ve been waiting 20 minutes for our beyond meat burgers. Without a word, she turned around, packaged them up and handed them to him.

That’s not all though. Remember how we ordered beyond meat burgers? Well, they were in fact beyond meat… with bacon on them. We don’t eat pork, so we play it safe with vegetarian food. Imagine my anger after waiting 5x the time they told us to wait, just to bite into a “vegetarian” burger topped with a big slab of...

This is the worst A&W in Winnipeg. The girls there are just miserable. In particular the East Indian girl that worked night. This is June 4th 2022 at around 10:30pm. It’s like they don’t want to be there. When I gave her my order, she said “just so you know it’s going to be 8 to 10 minutes for your order to be ready”. There is no body in-line other than me. The attitude she showed me was unbelievable. She dumped drinks on my car when she was passing it to me. I asked for a napkin, she just rolled her eyes and went and got the paper towels. She was very unwelcoming. I waited on the side for 15 minutes for my food to come. And no straws in the bag. It’s worst. I can’t imagine the treatment if I actually had to go into the restaurant and sit to eat. If the driver thru...

I walked in at 530pm, no one was there, at 545pm I was finally acknowledged, it took me 14 minutes to get my food, whoever is managing this restaurant needs to give their head a shake AND ALL THE FOOD WAS COLS

It's dinner time, you have 2 people working, and neither of them were actually there to acknowledge a customer

I asked for a frozen root beer, I paid for a frozen root beer, I was told they can't and gave me a regular root beer

He tried to give me the wrong order

And only helped drive through while others inside were getting fed up

This is absolutely a failure on management, go anywhere else
