Cinnzeo Bakery Cafe — Restaurant in Winnipeg

Was walking down the street with my GF to catch a bus and came across this bakery. We had time since our bus was in a while and local cafe and bakeries are our thing so we decided to quickly check them out and see what they offer.

Got to say, the owners were very welcoming, enthusiastic and highly hospitable. Just within the couple of minutes that we were in, they shared their menu, various offers they provide inside cafe and patio outside. Since I do not like to leave empty-handed from a local establishment, we decided to grab a cheese roll from them to-go and they quickly gave us the instructions on how to reheat or freeze and how long it will stay good outside or in the fridge. He also pointed out the reheating and freezing instructions that were printed on the box, I thought that was so cool!

Not thrilled about my experience here today. I had very high hopes because I heard great things, but really disappointed with the quality and price. We ordered x4 cinnamon rolls + a latte + a bottle of juice and it was $35. Quite pricy imo. Plus, they told us that new cinnamon buns would be ready in a few minutes, but when we got the box, it was clearly not fresh or warm. When we got home and tried them just 10 min later they were quite hard and we needed a knife to cut through them. Very average tasting, not soft, and very pricey considering their quality. What a beautiful place! Easy access, lots of space to enjoy their delicious Cinnamon Buns! We loved the Classic Cinnamon Bun and the Savoury Bun. The Italian Soda was great and Mango Smoothie is very refreshing. If it’s a cold day, don’t worry because they have hot chocolate too!! And the chocolate twist was very fresh.
