Disappointing Presentation and Packaging for a Special Occasion ​I was excited to try your mini cheesecakes, having heard many great things about your establishment. The cakes themselves were delicious and did not disappoint. However, I was extremely let down by the lack of professionalism in the presentation and packaging. ​I ordered these cakes for my niece's 14th birthday. The staff member who took my order was friendly and helpful, but the final product did not reflect the store's specialization. She mentioned that writing "Happy Birthday" on the small cakes would be difficult, but assured me she would make it work. The result, as shown in the attached photos, was very disappointing. ​The writing on the cakes was unprofessional and lacked the skill I would expect from a specialty dessert shop. It looked like a five-year-old had written it, showing a lack of creativity and attention to detail. It's surprising that a chef or manager would approve such a product for release, especially when simple techniques like using tempered chocolate in a piping bag could have resulted in a much cleaner and more professional look. ​Furthermore, the overall packaging was a letdown. The original box was flimsy and the plastic cover was damaged, requiring another staff member to transfer it to a different box. When I asked for a bag to carry the box, none were available that fit properly. For a business that has been around for so long, it's surprising that there is a lack of branded or appropriate packaging for your products. ​I hope you can take this feedback to improve your standards in presentation and packaging. Your delicious products deserve to be presented with the same level of care and...

It is difficult to describe how incredible Double D’s Cheesecake and Coffee is! You have to try it to know but nevertheless, here’s my review where I probably overshare. Just ecstatic I have found a staple cheesecake spot.

I had the Skor mini cheesecake while my boyfriend had the Apple Caramel. Both were delicious! The filling portion was so flavourful yet not overpowering like many cheesecakes are. But the texture is what really set this cheesecake apart from the rest; the filling is so soft and light that it literally melts in your mouth. The crust is smooth, moist and not overly dense, providing a nice contrast between the two.

We loved the cheesecakes so much that we ended up buying some of the frozen minis to keep frozen at home, to eat at a later date. That later date will probably be tonight for me honestly. I typically feel weighed down after indulging in cheesecake - was not the case here! I attribute that to the fluffiness of the filling.

I had a cappuccino which was also very good - I like my coffee and was very surprised by how awesome it was. Price wise, I didn’t find it out of the ordinary for a dessert establishment - especially for the quality! The service, presentation and atmosphere were fabulous as well. We will be singing high praises to our friends and family to try this place out! Life long...

Over the years I have come to this cute little shop in St.Vital. It has been a perfect meeting place!

Their cheesecake is oh so creamy and light. I'm sure you'll love it. They also have tasty drinks. Staff there are always able to suggest something, if you're unsure what to try (drink or cheesecake).

You can dine in or take out...for take out, their cakes are frozen and thaw in time for you to enjoy. Dining in? Choose from a huge variety of tasty cakes. May I suggest Key Lime!

And to drink, I love their London Fog. Yum yum! I've had other drinks there, and they were good too.

Service here is awesome. As I mentioned above, the staff/owner is always ready to provide a tasty suggestion or help you with an oh so difficult decision, when it comes to what cake should you try today!

Seating is good for 1, 2, 3 or more!

Parking is ample, in the shared strip mall lot.

What more can I say about this little shop...go and try it for yourself, you're sure to find something you enjoy! Oh, they even have low sugar options and full size cheesecakes...the options...
