Gaberniks Cafe Etc — Restaurant in Winnipeg

Gaberniks cafe in Winnipeg takes the cake for ruining a good thing in downtown Winnipeg. Juss Jazz the new downtown jazz music club had a deck built on Portage ave by Downtown Biz. The owner of this cafe complains! His jealousy went to the owner (Landlord) of the building who then made Juss Jazz shorten the large patio to a tiny one! Brutal! Everyone wants to see Portage ave turn into something better and it's owners like this that ruin it for everyone! I suggest that we boycott this cafe cause of his jealousy and stupidity! Great job by Downtown...

It was "ok", the portion sizes are good, prices decent. The broccoli soup was a blended soup with no chunks of broccoli and extremely salty. I had to keep taking sips of water to finish eating it. The egg salad sandwich was really bland and no seasoning in the egg salad. Bonus points for the added tomato and lettuce and the fresh marble bread. However, I was thinking I was getting marble rye and it's not what I was expecting... it's square and soft like white bread. It's fine if you're hungry and better than a greasy...

more tables have been added to make room for the increased influx of happy customers. come early for a seat. business is brisk with quick service and quality food items. Limited but varied food items however the coffee choices seems endless. Don't see it just ask for it and you'll be pleased by...
