Previously, we have come to this Kawaii crepe several times and have had great service and food. We genuinely used to consider this restaurant our favourite Kawaii Crepe to go to and one of the best in town.

However, this time, I cannot in good conscience recommend coming here again. When we arrived, there were 3 customers (a pair of girls and a man by himself) ahead of us. I should also note that there were two employees, from what we could tell.

The first thing we noticed was that they had stopped making crepes fresh, rather they were reheating pre-made crepes. This resulted in soggier and colder crepes than normal. I'm not sure whether this was due to the staff not having received sufficient training or a decision by the company to save money, but, whatever the reason, the food quality has been negatively impacted by this as the resulting crepes lacked the crisp exterior and the warmth that we had previously received.

The second problem was that it took FOREVER to get our food. We felt bad for the man ahead of us who waited approximately 45 minutes for his order of 2 drinks. Moreover, there seemed to be an issue in PRIORITIZATION of orders, given that our friend (who had ordered after us) received her drink first, before the man ahead of us received either of the drinks that he had ordered.

Moreover, when our friend received her drinks, there was a lot of miscommunication with regards to whose drink was placed on the counter. The drink was not labeled, therefore we had no idea whose drink it was, only that it did not belong to the man ahead of us. We kept asking "Is this drink A or B?" To which the worker replied with "Yes" two or three times. We finally resolved the issue by one of us simply taking a drink of it to discern the flavour.

Additionally, when we finally did get our food, it was made incorrectly. Despite having repeated twice that we would like bananas on the crepe, we received a crepe with strawberry.

Tl;dr : Non-fresh, lukewarm, slightly soggy crepes with incorrect filling. Apallingly slow service, especially for drinks (we believe due to a lack of training by the company for their employees) A general atmosphere that the company needs to have more staff and better training to ensure that employees feel confident and sufficiently trained to the point where they can carry out orders...

As a loyal customer for I would say at least 5 years, they have lost me for good. All because they care too much about $10. I received a crepe that tasted like chemicals, the taste was way off (as I ate there plenty before and ordered the same thing so could easily distinguish the taste), I'm sure it was the lettuce. It was inedible. I had to throw it out. So when I called, they had to refer me to someone else, who was going to replace it. While not really suffice considering I didn't know what I just ate a part of, I still said okay. When I went back about 10 days later, they made the replacement (essentially wasting 2 crepes, since they wouldn't give me this one as you''ll see). But then told me I needed to return the old one. Like I said, this was 10 days later. How disgusting is that, they expected me to save it for nearly 2 weeks? When I talked to the manager on the phone again, I told her how ridiculous it was, and compared them to the ease of Mcdonalds, Tim Hortons etc. when a problem arises. She told me I shouldn't be comparing them to other places but almost in the next sentence told me that they never had a problem with people returning old crepes for replacement. How hypocritical! I was told I would get a call back a few days later but no call back. Also in this whole thing I was told they inspected the lettuce and other things, not sure I believe them. That crepe was not edible. I will never be going again and you shouldn't take your chances here either! --this was not at osbourne, it was at st.vital branch...I think it it run...

The food used to be amazing but yesterday was the worst service I've had. No offense, the girls in the cashier were amazing. They were really nice and apologetic when we waited for not even 2 minutes. Anyways, I don't have any problems with the 2 girls on till. But the guy wih the beard and glasses is the worst. We saw him being mean to another guy with the tattoo when making crepes. I felt sick watching him. The guy with the tattoo is amazing for just ignoring him but please get rid of the other guy with beard. The crepes that we got from him, because we were watching him make it, they were shockingly soft. They were pretty busy yes but that is somewhat health hazard too. Also, he was basically shouting or yelling the number. Instead of calling it loudly in a proper way. Overall, me and my friends won't be coming back for a while. Mainly because of the guy with the beard. Get rid of him, the other guy with tattoo and tall guy were much better. Their crepes were perfectly golden coloured but the guy with the beard is horrific. The staff looked stress because of him. Give a raise on those 2 asian girls, the white tall guy and the asian tattooed guy. They were the best staff. NOT THE BEARDED ONE FOR...

I order from here, at least twice a week on skip the dishes. Today I received the most dark brown, rock hard crepe I’ve ever seen in my entire life. I did not know you guys would still serve something like that to a customer? I spent $18 just to wait to still not be able to eat anything and have to fight with skip the dishes to get a full refund back. As the only one who got to eat the crepe was my garbage can. Super unacceptable and won’t be ordering from here anymore which sucks mostly for me but it is what it is. The fact that there wasn’t any care to send this out to a customer is all I need to know.

Food is always great, staff is always friendly, exceptionally so today. Definitely a winnipeg institution that you have to stop off at if you're visiting, and if you live here and haven't tried it yet, get on that. There's something for everyone with everything from breakfast to dessert and a ton of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options without ever sacrificing flavor. All of it reasonably priced with plenty of non alcoholic drinks to pair. Just fantastic.

Great place to go if you're craving a mix of things, savory/ sweet. I prefer the savory as the sweet can be a bit much, but that's personal preference. It can get kind of busy at times but I've never had to wait too long. Staff is kind and crepes usually are good, sometimes the odd time the crepe will be hard to eat because it ripped etc. Can be messy but priced well, however I would just avoid their "bubble tea".
