KFC — Restaurant in Winnipeg

I'm not sure what the meaning of fast food is any longer? It seems like the waits at KFC drive thrus are getting longer and longer. In my last few experiences getting takeout through the drive thru if it's not off hours I think it would be faster to go to a grocery store and by a readymade chicken and take it home, heck it may be faster to buy a raw chicken from the store and take it home to cook! With my most recent visit there were seven cars ahead of me and I was in the drive thru for thirty minutes! When it was my turn at the order speaker I tried to or the Two Can Dine Special for $15 that is advertised on the KFC APP. I was told they need the promo code on the bottom of the coupon. This was my first time using the KFC APP. I'm not sure how many people use the KFC APP, but on this particular coupon there is no promo code. The person working the order board would not let me order it without a code. I tried reading off the coupon and the menu items that are included with it. The answer was still the same. I was not able to order it without a code. Frustrated and confused I told the person on the other end I wasn't sure what to order now. They suggested a nine piece bucket meal for twenty dollars, even though that wasn't what I wanted I agreed. When it was my turn at the payment window I made my payment and proceeded to the pick up window. When I arrived at the pick up window I showed the person working the window my original choice. The person rattle of the promo code off the top of his head, my reply was "I'm not sure, there is no code on the coupon on the KFC APP"! They were able to give me the order I wanted, and refunded the cash difference. I was grateful for the person's help, but at that point it made sense why I had to sit in a drive thru for thirty minutes. If I every have to get a chicken dinner again a six o'clock in the evening, I'll go to another chicken restaurant franchise...............or get pizza. Thank you for...

If I could give this place a 0 , I would. The customer service was really bad. I ordered two separate meals, one of them being a Big Crunch combo. When I opened the sandwich up I was graced with the presence of NO LETTUCE and the chicken itself being more on the burnt side. When I mentioned this to the workers they just handed me more lettuce for me to put on my sandwich in a little cup. On top of that the fries that came with it was generously seasoned with salt to the point where that was all I tasted. My other meal was the pickle meal box that we checked when we got home only to have to throw away HALF of it because the fried pickles tasted like it had been waiting back there for a Millennium before it was handed to us. Honestly we were really hungry and wanted something to eat but after having these meals we regret even coming and feel like we’ve been cheated out of our money. Compared to other locations, it feels like this place gives out smaller portions and subpar service. PLUS the soda machine’s ice component was broken so the soda that was served was at room temperature and added salt to the wound. Seventeen minutes for us to get to the drive thru window after placing our order, granted thete were four vehicles in front of us. The gentleman at the Window, Marion, greeted us curtly and asked for payment. We were told Tap did not work so we input the info and no reciept was given. Once we had paid he asked again what our drinks were, totally unprepared. About three minutes later our food arrived. Our previous visit we were told that we would have to wait 30 minutes for our order, since there were already vehicles behind us we had to wait. Kind of trapped in horrible service and management & staff couldn't have cared less.

The orders were received correctly and were satisfactory.
