Meet Fresh — Restaurant in Winnipeg

When I first came across this place in the beginning of 2023, it was amazing! The open tables with board games ready to play attracted my friend group to relax and have a night full of playing games and eating dessert.

Now, board games are messed up, there is only two staff working, and most importantly THE FOOD GOT WORSE. The photos on google are now OLD and when you get the shaved ice, it is in a small to-go container😭😭😭.

Although, it used to be a great spot to eat, it has now became an inflated place with shrinkflation desserts. Please have this issue...

My friend ordered us two hot milk teas and they were room temperature. I asked for mine to be heated up. The staffperson poured my tea into a tray (which I doubt was clean given the weird black floaties in my drink afterwards- which I didn't touch) to microwave it (way too long). While I was waiting I saw them run out of black tea mid two drink order and go back to a customer asking them to pick another tea for the second drink... that she had already half filled with black tea. So that customer got a Frankenstein drink without knowing. Pretty...

The place is nice and big with plenty of booths and seating. It wasn't busy as my friend and I showed up an hr before closing. It would be a great place to have dessert and to hangout with friends. It could also be a spot where you could order dessert and get some work or homework done.

Ordered the mango and strawberry shaved ice. It was delicious! It was massive and definitely a sharing option. Would order it again! They have a pretty big menu and even have some savoury items. Will go back...
