McDonald's — Restaurant in Winnipeg

Where do I even start. This McDonald’s has become a joke over the years. I had got their promotion last month. $25 gift card and get free Big Mac. One day I paid for it and waited well over 25 minutes for a coupon. Gurpreet the manager informed me to just come back and they will give me a free sandwich. I came back today and had informed Jasleen the manager. Let me tell you from someone who has worked for customer service for well over a decade and is still in the people business. How she handled the situation was so unprofessional. Denied me my promise, thankfully there was an employee I recognized and she had helped me out by letting Jasleen know what happened. Jasleen looking upset grabbed a bag, took a Big Mac that was already cold and gave me the bag. As soon as she gave me the bag she was giving me dirty looks. I then informed her about my full Order that I’ve been waiting on. I got my orders in different times so the food wasn’t fresh as I wanted. I eat in the restroom so I noticed right away that it wasn’t fresh. I had requested for ketchup prior and Jasleen then made a comment saying “ I should take away the Big Mac for all the ketchup you want. I do not feel comfortable being judged the way I eat my food and what I put in it. I asked for new fries and she looked shocked that I did that. my fries didn’t even burn my finger, no steam no nothing gave me old fries thinking I wouldn’t say anything. I have my whole order back and requested if it can be made fresh and she argued with me about it. While waiting for my order I got myself a drink or orange fruitopoa. She took it of the counter and threw it out. Then pretended that she didn’t do anything wrong. This is so caught on video by your cameras. Also the lobby was dirty, tables had junk on top not wiped or cleaned, garbage is all full and smells. Floors were slippers I almost slipped(also caught on camera) I informed Jayleen. About the lobby situation and she didn’t do anything. I feel disgusted eating here. Please fix ketchup so people like myself who enjoy it don’t get judged by the workers. It wasn’t even busy so I don’t understand how dirty...

I have never felt so disrespected on this morning at this McDonalds on keewatin. The manager if that's what you wanna call him. He was very rude to the new employee that was being trained by another young female. She stop to ask the manager a question about the coffee cards being upsize..he got frustrated and instead of explaining what she was doing wrong he just took over her order and cut her off very rudely. Then moves over to the next till to take orders, which was my order. I too used coffee cards( a good chance to show the new employee how it's done properly, but didnt)? Not manager material, but waring the uniform of one?????. There was only one person served before me, the one the trainee took...four orders after mine. However, I was served last...why? Well let's see, the manager who took all the orders but the one the trainee had..the manager decided that he would serve his regular customers first even tho I was my order was in first. Two asians, two caucasian people! I'm the only indigenous person in there at that moment. I received my order last, even after the four customers behind me? Why? Why? We all ordered coffees! Racism is clearly being promoted by this Asian manager workinging in an indigenous country, hmmm!. I have never felt so hurt and discriminated in my whole life, while buying a morning coffee. I'm saddened by the way this person was raised, your parents should be ashamed you & this company should be ashamed of you! Take a look on your cameras. Everything is true! Most disgusted. I went in here to grab a egg McMuffin and a coffee. The Karen manager here (older lady, with the grey hair Karen haircut) was putting around bugging everyone. She started immediately chirping me about how someone was already in the washroom. I said ok.

Then she says "I think we're going to start sanitizing people before they go to the washroom and checking their temperature"

I said "ok. I'm vaccinated if it's any consolation."

She said. "No it's not a consolation, it's a preventative measure and doesn't stop the spread.

Then she started asking me if I got the double shot or single shot. I said double.

She says it still is only a preventative measure and you can still spread it.

So I just shrugged because I didn't want to get into the dynamics of how viruses work with the McDonald's manager.

Then she opens the door to check the bathroom and says "ok he's gone you can go in"

I go do my business. When I walk out she immediately is there waiting. We make eye contact. I was about to get coffee when she started talking about covid again

Now I'm angry. And not thinking about food. I walk past her for the door when she starts shouting "excuse me! Hey!! You have to go this way! This is a one way entrance! As she tries to follow me. I wave my hand at her like go away as she tries to make her point. I just wanted to get the hell out of that McDonald's. Nothing was going to stop me from going to the closest entrance to get the hell away from this Draconian woman. I legitimately feel bad for her staff.
