Extremely disappointed with the service I received. I waited over 2hours for my food to be delivered. I had placed my order online through the website at 7:20 pm yesterday evening. My food didn’t arrive until 9:34pm. In between then I contacted the store twice asking for an update on my delivery. The first man I had spoke to was extremely rude. “ hi I’m just call for an update for an online order I placed since you website doesn’t have tracking” he confirms my order “ yeah well I’m busy give me 20-25 mins.” I said okay when I checked the time it had been 40 mins since my first call and still no contact so i called again. Speaking to a different man entirely who said the first person had no idea my order was for delivery and assumed it was for pick up and informed me that they didn’t even have a delivery person that night. Why was there no communication in between then so I could have found somewhere else to eat!?
I didn’t even want the food anymore. People are fasting which I had mentioned btw and waiting over 2 hours for food is ridiculous. So I had called the corydon location to place my order instead because I know their quality is very good and very fresh when I used to live in the area. I explained what had happened and he said I’ll be delivering within 30-35mins. Mind you there was no communication between the stores the delivery man said so this location still came to deliver my food somehow. On a flying carpet idk since there was no driver. They didn’t inform me that they were on their way nor did they announce which location they were from when they arrived so I had paid thinking this was the new order I had placed. WRONG! I basically got tricked into paying $68 for very terribly made food.
So when my new order arrived I had to tell them I didn’t want it. I felt so bad he drove all that way. Had I known I would’ve refused the first guy. He called his boss which I appreciated to see if there was anything he could do but no. So ultimately I waited for food I didn’t even eat. I ended up ordering elsewhere. I ordered a calzone which was dry and doughy. A pizza that wasn’t even cooked properly it was literal dough and the cheese under everything wasn’t even melted fully. Chicken shawarma that was also dry with no sauce like what? And a chicken wrap which was the only thing asked to be no sauce. Who orders food and ultimately has to continue cooking the food. I literally had to put the pizza in the oven before my child ( who had to wait 1.5hrs passed their bedtime to eat) could eat it so he didn’t fall sick. I’m angry that I was even charged for...
Read moreI ordered a pizza, and two donairs on xmas eve through skip the dishes. Order was around $35, plus tip. Was originally quoted 45 mins delivery time on skip. Understandable, not many restaurants open on xmas night. Immediately after ordering, was sent a message, busier than usual, order would take 45 mins, to 75 mins. Ok, not a problem, appreciate being let in on the time change, and early. 95 mins later, I call the restaurant to find out whats going on with my order, which has still not arrived. The manager answers, and is very rushed, and looking to get me off the phone quickly. Not quite rude, but giving me quick, one word answers. Tells me my order will be here.in 5 mins. Seems like smoke being blown up my ass, ask if the order had even left. (15 min drive from my place in ZERO traffic). I am assured it has left, and will be here in 5 mins. Continue on, asking to confirm my order. Am repeated back the wrong order. I let him know the order I actually put through on skip, and he lets me know thats NOT whats coming. I tell him I am not paying for the wrong order, and to please e send put the correct order asap. (I have already paid for this order in full through skip) The manager lets me know that no, there is no way they will be correcting the order, as that is what I ordered. I have the manager read back the order to me. As he reads it, he realizes his mistake mid reading, and gets sudddenly angry, and tells me it doesnt matter, thats the order i'll be getting. I tell him I will not be paying for that. Its not what I ordered. I proceed to tell him how I cant believe the terrible customer service I am receiving from the manager. That I will definitely be making a negative review about his restaurants service. He proceeds to laugh in my ear and tell me that they are such a busy restaurant, that they dont need my business, and then hang up on me. I will obviously never give such a business an opportunity to recieve my hard earned money again, but definitely want to warn anyone else out there of the level of service, and care for repeat business that this company has. I had ordered a family meal online back in February. When we went to pick it up, they said they never got the order. And then they said their online order had an error. If that’s the case, then why did we get a confirmation that it would be ready for the requested time of pick up? It was a $40 meal and after having to wait 30 minutes for them to make the order, we were expected to pay full price. I had to say that it was unacceptable, and only then were we given a $3 refund. Wow, 3 whole dollars!
I asked for a full refund for the poor customer service, and they REFUSED. After a long argument about my experience and their terrible service - they finally offered a credit for the same meal, and that all I had to do was call with my name and phone number to claim it.
Again, this happened in February. I called on Saturday to claim it, giving my name and number. The worker who answered was rude, denied me the meal, SCREAMED at me saying it wasn’t his problem, and just kept talking over me when I was trying to explain that customers shouldn’t be treated this way - especially after an already previous horrible experience. He failed to believe that I had every right to be upset, when he was screaming at me! Who screams at their customers? I asked if he could call his manager, to verify that I do have a credit. He said it wasn’t his job to ask his manager. I asked him for his name and he said “I don’t know”. He also hung up on me.
It has been 4 days since I emailed this company asking to be contacted by the owner, and I never heard back. I work in a customer service industry, and I own a business, so it is beyond me how this place is still a business. It is the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. It’s upsetting and disappointing how they think it’s ok to treat people this way, and that they will get away with it.
