❌Avoid Spicy Grill East Indian Restaurant❌
My friends and I had a terrible time at Spicy Grill last night. We waited forever for water (45 minutes), and the food took ages to arrive. When it did, it was bland and poorly made (extremely watery curries and not worth single penny). The owner, who was the only staff member serving and taking orders in the entire restaurant, didn't care about our complaints (we have had asked for dinner plates to put curry and appetisers which they denied and didn’t gave us. We dined in small roti plate! My husband had ordered spicy garlic chicken curry which was basically a tangy tomato soup with chicken cubes into it, it was horrible dish, video is attached and I would like to give 0 ratings for it which I complained to them and we told him to take it back and cancel it which he didn’t acknowledged also we have ordered 2 plate panner tikka which were huge non marinated cubes of paneer grilled without any seasoning, no chutney on side for it and still charged us for awful food. Plus,I went for hand wash and had a quick look at their back end and it was unhygienic and way too messy! naans being rolled on dirtiest table.
How confident were you when you opened this restaurant❓If you can't deliver quality, hygienic, flavorful food with proper service, it begs the question why you're cutting corners by understaffing⁉️

Read moreOh, where do I even begin? If you’re looking for a masterclass in how to ruin Indian food, Spicy Grill is the place to be. Our group of seven went in hungry and excited—big mistake.
Two of us made the unfortunate choice of ordering their so-called “buffet.” Now, when you hear “buffet,” you imagine a spread of delicious dishes you can actually serve yourself, right? Not here. At Spicy Grill, the “buffet” means you get a regular plate of mediocre food, and if you dare ask for more, the waitress acts like you just insulted her entire family.
Speaking of the waitress—every time we ordered something, she looked at us like we had asked her to climb Mount Everest barefoot. Nothing says “welcome” like an eye-roll every time you want to try another dish, right?
And the food… oh, the food. Bland, greasy, and somehow still managed to upset everyone’s stomach. Impressive, really—takes talent to make food both tasteless and hazardous.
The grand finale? Dessert. If you enjoy being treated like a child begging for extra candy, you’ll love this part. We each got a tiny bowl with one sad piece of dessert—apparently rationed as if sugar was running out worldwide. We politely asked for more, and the waitress’s face screamed, “How dare you?”
Overall, Spicy Grill gave us an unforgettable experience… because we’ll never stop warning people not to go there. If you’re craving Indian food, do yourself a favor—eat literally...
Read moreNever visited the place before but ordered chicken biryani on phone around midnight as I had travelled for long. The street parking was full so I had to park far away and walk in my heels. When I went in to pick up the food, the owner asked for e-transfer as their machine wasn’t working which was quite reasonable. When I e-transferred the money and showed him the confirmation he refused to give my food as it didn’t show up in his bank account at that time. I wasn’t able to cancel my e-transfer as his account was on auto deposit. He told me to get cash from the ATM but i didn’t have my card on hand. At the end I had to leave the place without getting the food and paying the food. I have given my e-transfer id so I hope he will return back the money. Very pissed by the service especially from the owner. He just didn’t care even though his machine wasn’t working. I wish I could had given 0 stars!
Update: it’s been 2 weeks and the owner hasn’t returned my money back even though I had provided my e-transfer id.
2nd update: I called the owner and he denied e-transfer and asked me to come to the store causing me inconvenience even though I sent him e-transfer and he should be returning the money the same way. He cut the call when I asked him to return my money back via e-transfer. His voice felt threatening as well when he asked me to come to the store to get my money...
