staff priority is only on mobile order pick up. 20 customers were helped in the mobile pick up line before 3 customers could be helped in the regular line. people had to get on their phone even though they are in the store to get their order faster. I had to use the mobile app and got my order faster than 2 people ahead of me in the regular line and within that time an extra 8 - 10 people in the mobile pick up spot that were just walking in were helped faster. I'd understand if their orders were pre-made and were just being picked up. 3 Associates were helping the Mobile pick up line and only 1 Associate was working the regular line and even the one Associate working the regular line was serving one from regular line and the next from mobile pick up, so at moments there was 0 Associates serving the regular line and 4 on the mobile line. My only frustration is that their is really no division of labor or communication to say lets keep both lines happy. its not like the regular line had 1 or 2 customers at the time I entered i was 6th in line and the line was growing. Please do better as a store there is no customers better than others. its not a case of employees being competent but a matter of how the store is run. we get it you are trying to promote mobile pick up but as a suggestion keep 1 Associate atleast dedicated to the regular line irregardless of how busy the other side is, the only time the 1 Associate can jump in to help the mobile pick up line is if the regular line has no customers or if the mobile pick up customer showed up before the person in the regular line.
I have noticed the trend of mobile pick up being helped faster than the regular line and I don't mind it but over doing it like in today's case was unacceptable. I'm going to assume the guy wearing all black was the manager and was directing the associates to prioritize mobile pick up.
This is not to say that the staff are terrible. 99% of the time ive come to this location the staff is very friendly, helpful and kind and even today I was greeted with a smile despite how busy it was and was helped but not in the manner I expected to be helped ( ordering online so that I could get my order faster when I am already in store).
Not going to comment on Atmosphere cause I have never eaten in the store. it is small so can't give a rating on that.
FINAL Statement: MAKE YOUR ORDER ONLINE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SPEND MORE THAN...
Read moreI am a regular customer… The service became more and more useless.
Worst service ever… I felt unwelcomed, disrespectful, ignored and not greeted.
I ordered an espresso shot, the Punjabi (Sikh) guy was at the bar, with a couple other Punjabi guys standing outside, I felt uncomfortable.
Next thing… the staff was ignoring me and I waited nearly two or three minutes for the coffee.
I left the restaurant overwhelmed with emotions, bullied by the staff and the customers, PROUDLY GRANTED A REFUND… without ordering anything.
This is definitely not customer service but harassment and I don’t want to take legal action against it just because I have worked at a TIM’s before.
Hope they train staff better. It’s a restaurant, not a personal battleground where employees can disrespect customers, due to personal reasons or gang affiliations.
This is against the law. They are definitely not respectful of a human’s rights. Let alone customer service for the job he’s doing.
If those Sikh guys or the woman there are from the streets, I would request the management to terminate their employment… They said and did something very disgusting and disrespectful… because…better people, better people with intentions of service and humanity deserve that job, shouldn’t be paying them for ‘scoundrel-ism’.
Anyways I don’t think they should get a regular nice INDIAN customer coming in for his espresso. Never coming back to...
Read moreI come to this location between bus transfers, often afterwork. There one woman who is always there when I go. She is usually preparing the foods people order.
I have spent 30 years in this kind of customer service and she is just the kind of customer service representative any business would want. She is friendly, talks and laughs with customers, gets the orders out quickly. I don't often come across her level of customer care.
No matter how busy it is at this location, and there seems to always be an endless line, the staff never show their stress. They just work quickly and efficiently. I've never heard them be rude, never seen them falter. They always just get the orders taken and out in the fastest manner they can manage. I'm always impressed.
Working downtown has its own stresses I'm sure, but the staff here just work hard and it shows.
The only thing I'd like to see different is simply having seating available for customers. Often seats are being taken by people who aren't buying anything but looking to use the Wifi or people looking for shelter for a while/sleeping. I know it can be risky approaching people as you aren't sure their mental health or conditions and how they will react. This location just has so little seating it's hard when you have food and drinks and...
