Wendy's — Restaurant in Winnipeg

So my fiance and I got the Wendsaday special that comes with chicken nuggets, sundae, 2 mystery sauces, and fries. I also got the junior bacon cheeseburger. The burger itself has better toppings then some places, and the square patty is a unique touch, however the patty has no spices for flavor. For some people who prefer blender patties this will work for you, but for people who want more flavor try their other burgers. The chicken nuggets were good, but a bit dry, it wasn't necessarily a bad thing just more uncomfortable while you eat, but the mystery sauces help with the dryness problem. Im pretty sure I got the Nowhere you woe sauce and the grave mistake sauce. The light purple one honestly smelled like ranch at first, but I was very suprised to get a heat kick when I tried it, I tasted the kick of heat a bit more then the flavor but its enjoyable and not that bad. The darker one smelled like spice, and balsamic vinagar, and honey. It smelled both sweet and sour. However I gave it a new nickname I now call it sweet and REVENGE! because instead of a more sour flavor like I expected I tasted intense heat with the sweet flavor, I was very confused at first! However I found myself liking it alot! It was really good and my favorite sauce out of the 2! The French fries are good as well and taste really good with the dips! And the sundae is good but you have to mis it together yourself if you wanna get the full flavor if the sunday, as mine was syrup on the bottom and vanilla...

We love to eat at Wendy's. But recently we bought vanilla frostycinno and its taste bitter and looks like the vanilla cream/milk is not enough for the amount i pay. Every time i buy that drink its taste different sometime its good but most of it its bitter. I went to counter and ask a litter bit of vanilla coz its so pale in taste and bitter the the indian manager or supervisor respond to that i need to pay for a small amount of vanilla. And she is getting mad coz i told that sometimes when its bitter i ask for a little cream and some employee or manager gave me.im asking for small amount im not asking for to much i just want to taste it bit sweet or a taste of what i pay for, And her eyes is keep rolling and when i said never mind she keeps taking on their language. I been a manager for so long ang speaking in there own language is not allowed most specially if there is other people or customer infront of u. And when indian customer came in she is so lively. Not against with them but be professional and a little of cream will not hurt store sales. We are paying with right amount but for quality of drink and bad customer service. I just notice if the employee working is canadian or filipino the food and serving is good but with indian employees its small amount and most of drinks or frosty is bit less...

Friday November 29, 2024. Went through the drive thru, order my meals, paid and I received a notification that my payment went through, and lady advice me that payment didn’t go through and I showed them it has and they ignored me. They refused to give me my food unless I paid again. So I called my bank to verify. And I asked my bank to investigate. Payment was posted. Two workers started yelling at me and didn’t move until this was addressed. One worker then refused to service me at this point. I had no choice to leave because they also refused to refund me. I called corporate office and supervisor called to apologize and look into this issue, and mentioned to have my bank to investigate the issue. SMH, she didn’t care to help the situation, she the manger kept gaslighting the situation. but had to wait It’s Dec 06, and I still haven’t received my refund. I followed up to find out she said that it will take 5-7 days to reverse the payment. The manager and her staff sure made it seem like everything was as my fault. Even the customers were curing at me. Never I would step a foot in any Wendy’s establishment. For the apology, manager offered me two meals. What a joke! I been verbally, mentally abused by the staff...
