I ordered the Greek chicken souvlaki dinner. The cashier told me to wait in line so I did. I never got the chance to ask for no olives or onions in my salad as they just put a pre made mix on my plate and said here you go. I explained that I thought they would make the salad in-front of me, to order as I had a few requests. The lady looked at me and looked at the cashier and laughed. She then pushed the plate towards me and said nope, this is how we do it here. Another lady from the back area came and said, no worries, we will make you a new salad, but next time you need to tell us while you pay. ( said in a sour voice, grumpy face, eye roll) She then took my salad from my tray in front of me and set it aside and said I’m sure someone else in line will order a salad. Very gross. So, they were practically rude to me, then put the salad from my tray aside for another customer. Not very hygienic. I wouldn’t want something that wasn’t fresh, just sitting out there. Outstanding Food and Incredible Honey Dill Poutine!

As a Red River College student, I first learned about Zorba’s while working on a class project where my group interviewed the owner (my group member’s mom). At the time, I hadn’t tried their food, but I decided to stop by afterward—and I’ve been hooked ever since!

The Honey Dill Poutine is absolutely unmatched. Since they’re the creators of Winnipeg’s famous honey dill sauce, it makes sense they’ve mastered the art of combining sweet and savory in this dish. It’s hands-down the best poutine I’ve ever had. Their gyro wrap is also a total standout—flavorful, fresh, and completely addictive.
