What a find. A beautiful Italian run by Husband and Wife Barbara. A true Italian experience, Barbara is very knowledgeable and knows exactly which part of Italy thier products have come from. We were in Cape Verde for two weeks and ate here twice. For starters we had the sharing platter, brushetta and baked goats cheese all of which were outstanding. Mains we had pizzas (exceptionally good and really like that you can choose what toppins) Gnocchi sorrentina (our daughter had this both times we went there) Penned Bolognese for our youngest. Sliced Enrecote with green pepper sauce. The show stopper for us was the deconstructed tiramisu absolutely outstanding 👏 Greatly appreciate your hospitality and thank you. Best of luck for the rest of the year.

Wir sind spontan abends in diesem Restaurant gelandet und hatten das Glück - nach einer kleinen Wartezeit - einen Tisch zu erhalten, weil eine Reservierung nicht kam. Es lohnt sich daher in jedem Fall, vorher einen Tisch zu reservieren. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm, das Interieur wertig und dem Essen ebenbürtig. Tolle Gastgeberin, die sich authentisch darum bemüht, dass man einen tollen Abend hat. Musik im Hintergrund ebenfalls sehr angenehm. Zum Kulinarischen: Wir starteten mit einem leckeren weißen Hauswein und einer geteilten Margherita. Leckere Tomatensauce mit Oregano, der Boden nicht zu dünn und nicht zu dick. Toller Auftakt. Es folgten Gnocchi (in meinem Fall Sorrentina, also Tomate und jeeeeede Menge Mozzarella) und diese waren ein Gedicht. Super Geschmack, perfekte Konsistenz, geht kaum besser. Den krönenden Abschluss stellte dann das dekonstruierte Tiramisù dar, bei dem man jede Komponente bzw. jeden Schritt selbst bearbeitete. Zum „klassischen“ Tieamisù fehlt freilich die Zeit, um Kaffee/Amaretto durchziehen zu lassen, aber andererseits ist das Tiramisù so 100% frisch und es wird auch nichts weggeworfen, was nicht verzehrt wird. Alles in allem hatten wir einen rundum gelungenen Abend und lagen preislich sicherlich am oberen Ende der lokalen Preisskala, aber mit unter 60€ für zwei auch völlig im Rahmen. Preis/Leistung stimmen hier definitiv - das sauberste und feinste Lokal auf Sal, das wir bislang erleben durften. Gerne wären wir wiedergekommen, aber dies müssen wir wohl auf den nächsten Urlaub verschieben. Einen Besuch können wir aber jedem ohne Einschränkung empfehlen!

Pizza was okey. Second visit, 5.2.23, somehow pizza was even better, service nice and efficient. Reserve yr table, seems to be do popular. Guess u dont be disappointed after yr dinner. Have to increase the stars to 5. There in Baraonda again. Bruschetta and pasta con asparagus e shrimps, it's just food but how good.

disappointing Evening after reading so many good reviwes and high expectation that resulted to dry tuna fish and not properly fried simple french fries to serving nearly raw steak that she refused to accept order ofwelldone with explaining the CUT of the meat and its whereabout from direct import from Italy that has really nothing to do with making IT welldone or not. Olive oil from Portugal and she insist every ingredient is flown direct from italy. Really cheap black olives and cheap ham that she tried to sell IT AS Parma ham, not knowing that i actually visited Parma and Seen the process of making the Parma ham.so totally not genuin Italian food or dessert. The food and service here are wonderful, and all in impeccable surroundings. A varied menu consisting of fish or meat, and there's even a pizza menu (which are delicious. Not your average pizza). Prices are very reasonable too. And on a personal note we need to thank the owner so much for answering the phone at 8.00am the following morning after we realised we had left our credit card there the previous evening and we were leaving the island that day!
