My 1 star review is being generous. Waiter was actually pretty good, the establishment is clean & their patio is a nice feature.
Now the truth. As an American who knows good "Pub Grub", the food at Route 66 is abysmal, maybe worse. The Route 66 Sampler Plate had both, believe it or not, over fried and under fried items. Mushy Mozzarella Sticks, not crisp French Fries and totally burnt Chicken Tenders.
Also had the Route 66 House Bueger.
#1 it's not difficult to toast a hamburger BUN and toasting the bun makes a big difference.
#2 the Route 66 House Burger has 2 patties. I believe the cocktail napkin is thicker than the hamburger pattie in this burger, do the thickness of the 2 combined burger patties is equivalent to 2 cocktail napkins.
Need I go on?
Beer (Amber on tap) was fresh & tasty, they could pour a draft beer better, too much head on the beer.
Route 66 has potential, real good potential, owners need to invest in airline flights to the US, patronize quality burger restaurants, learn, then return to Chile & implement what they learned
We had a wonderful dinner tonight at Route 66 — four of us came, and everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was delicious: tender, juicy ribs with crispy fries, a fresh and flavorful pizza, refreshing Caesar salad with grilled chicken, and a beautifully presented noodle dish that was bursting with flavor.
But what truly made our night memorable was the exceptional service. Every staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. They checked on us regularly without being intrusive, made great recommendations, and always served us with a genuine smile. We felt truly welcomed and well taken care of — it’s rare to find this level of hospitality.
We left with full stomachs and happy hearts. Highly recommend Route 66 if you’re in Santiago — not just for the food, but for the outstanding service that makes you...
Read moreRestaurant Route 66 in Santiago is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious food and excellent service. I had the pleasure of trying their Trilogia de Chevices, which was absolutely delicious, and the Empanaditas de Pulpo, which were super good. The real star of the show, however, was our waiter Bryan. He was not only attentive and friendly, but he also suggested an amazing cocktail called "Sabor y Aroma" made with rum and a delicious flavor of passion fruit and lemon: AWESOME!
The restaurant itself is fancy, with a great atmosphere and it's perfect to enjoy a nice dinner with friends or family. The location is also great, as it's in a central area of Santiago, making it easy to access.
Overall, I highly recommend Restaurant Route 66. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is perfect for a...
